Any word on Kevin McCarthy's injury? Looked like shoulder. He was playing well for the 5 minutes he played. Made a good balance in FF line.

He says David Clifford is a mix of Maurice Fitzgerald and Darragh O'Sé. Maurice Fitzgerald and David Clifford have been compared before but I can't see any similarities between Darragh O'Sé and Clifford. 2 completely different players. What was his thinking there I wonder?

What was his thinking there I wonder? More like a cross between Maurice Fitz and Mikey Sheehy

More like a cross between Maurice Fitz and Mikey Sheehy Id have said gooch and Donaghy! So would I but on reflection all these great players were one-offs. David brings his unique skill set and lets hope he plays like David Clifford this year.

Maybe he is suggesting that David is well able to stand up for himself and I mean that in a good way.

It takes milliseconds for David to see the correct option and execute it. Colm in his prime could do the same.

Was the second goal a bit dodgy?

As long as the ball was bouncing it is fine

Was the second goal a bit dodgy? Not as dodgy as the overcarrying by the Rossie lad to set up their first point. Looked like O'Brien was tripped by the keeper anyway.

What strikes me is how most of our scoring forwards seem to kick the ball into the clouds when shooting for a point. It's effective but unusual.
