Was at Milltown/Castlemaine vs brosna Milltown will be disappointed to have conceded a soft goal in first 5 mins which was brosnas only score in the half. Brosna would have been happy at half time losing by 2 points and playing with a strong wind in second half but Milltown came out and worked and fought hard for everything and possibly had chances to win but they have kept there intermediate status for another year . Anyone at Glenbeigh vs Spa

Enthralling game in Glenflesk. Mitchels will be disappointed to lose after they turned around the game after trailing at half time having had a very strong wind. Glenflesk played with patience and experience in the first half and an early brian o donoghue goal had them in front. Mitchels struggled to integrate their running game with a strong wind and were guilty of poor shhoting and decision making. Mitchels took over in the second half and looked well placed leading against 13 men going into the final five minutes. However Glenflesk found courage from somewhere to get the win with Brian O Donoghue the hero with a sumptuous score from a tight angel in injury time

From what I hear An Ghaeltacht way too strong for a poor Ardfert side. Óigí Ó Sé (you get brother of Tomás) with 3 goals. Milltown vs An Ghaeltacht in Gallarus Sunday is winner takes all. Hard to see past Templenoe at this stage from winning it out.

They have some really excellent players with the likes of Tomas O'Sé, Roibeard O'Sé, Eanna O'Conchuir, Brian O'Beaglaoich, Dara O'Sé, SM O'Conchúir, Cathal O'Luing, Padraig Og O'Sé etc.

I hear glenflesk could be down a player after a straight red card sending off on Sunday, can anyone that was there enlighten ??

I hear glenflesk could be down a player after a straight red card sending off on Sunday, can anyone that was there enlighten ?? Darragh Roche got a straight red late on for a push in the linesman, to be honest there wasn’t much in it, just looked like he wanted the ball to take a quick free. Mitchels will be disappointed with the result, they kicked the game away in the first half playing with a strong wind. Quite games from there main players like James duggan, Niall sheehy and Alan o Donoughe. Brian o Donoghue took his goal well after a short knockout went wrong for the visitors, mitchels still had the better off the first half, Sean Moloney in particular doing his best to drive his team on with some driving runs forward. The second half was dominated by the visitors, they seemed to play against the wind really well and started to take control of the game, but glenflesk were clinical when going forward with the wind, something mitchels couldn’t do, Micheal wreen had a super second half for the mitchels side, fielding great ball in midfield, Jeff o Donoughe came on at half time and scored a beauty of a score with the outside of his boot to keep glenflesk within a point of the visitors. When the game was in the melting pot Brian o Donoghue scored an outrageous score from an impossible angle before Jeff put over a late free to seal it for the home side. Great game of football played in tough conditions!

Looks likely that it will be as described above. Glenflesk will be very understrength on the scoring front v Templenoe, between injuries and suspension. Gaeltacht might have that bit too much experience for Drmoid.
Some fall for Laune Rangers.

Disappointing result for ourselves today, to only score 2 points in the second half isn't good enough. I hope Peter Keane or one of his selectors was watching or will see footage of today's game because there was one player on show who looks nothing short of Kerry standard to me.
The Currow number 14 Michael McCarthy affectionately known as "buff" by his peers put in a kicking performance today that I haven't seen anything like in a while. With the game in the melting pot he scored a booming point with the outside of his right boot that Maurice Fitzgerald would have been proud of. To add that he put over a 45 that you could have mistaken for Bryan Sheehan.
This brings me to my point that this guy has all the attributes of a modern day full forward. Out of the hands or off the ground doesn't phase this man. He can win ball out in front or in the air. I would be very surprised if this fella isn't out in Currans next week showing Keane what he can do.
