Just seen a post on social media from Ulster GAA saying the handpass rule was not even going to be applied tonight. Can't recall any 4+ handpassing sequence. So either the players were not aware of it, or maybe their mindset has just been changed by the brief experiment

So either the players were not aware of it, or maybe their mindset has just been changed by the brief experiment I just watched it for a few minutes and there were 2 instances where I thought there were 4 hand passes. I was wondering if the rule wasn’t being applied tonight alright.

Tyrone scored after using 4 hand passes. They were not using the 3 handpass rule last night. Ulster GAA tweeted yesterday that after colsultation with the 2 counties that only the 4 approved new rules would be used.

Does this mean that the 4 approved rules will be used in the club games?

I am not sure that I agree. Maybe I'm misreading it but.. Having already transferred from Kerry to Roscommon, man tries to transfer up to Dublin, then transfers back to Kerry, in order to play for Roscommon. Seems ridiculous. Seanie Johnson has nothing on this. That said, best of luck to him.

Seanie Johnson has nothing on this. That said, best of luck to him. I dont think Conor Cox needed to change clubs at all to play for the county of his father. The rules allow this. There seems to be some confusion on his part on this point. For example KD could have played for Tyrone without being transferred from Stacks. Seanie Johnson had no Kildare parentage to draw on so he could not invoke that rule to play for Kildare. He pretended he was living in Kildare in order to invoke a different rule.

Dublin 1-15 Galway 0-07, Croke Park this evening. Joke! Looking at the wider picture and whatever about the money issue and distribution of GAA funds, first and foremost, Dublin should be made return to Parnell Park for their home league fixtures for the next league campaign in 2020. How our national arena for Gaelic games Croke Park been allowed to become Dublin's home stadium is unfair and completely farcical at this stage. Lets have a small bit of fairness anyway to rest of Ireland. A complete and utter joke at this stage.

The team who are due to have their "neutral" Super 8 game against Dublin should have the choice to move it outside Croke Park.
After that...Semple Stadium and Croke Park have to be in some county.

7inarow would be just about right all things considered. All other counties are just suckers in this charade.

A few people saying playing football before the hurling is not helping but the truth is that there is a major problem there regardless. The new South Stand casts a massive shadow across that pitch for most of the day and it looks like they have not bothered to invest in those lights that the likes if Croke Park and the Aviva have to help the pitch. Looking forward to a probable Kerry Championship game there in the summer I would fear injuries for players if it is not sorted. All that money and the actual pitch is almost unplayable.

the pitch in PUC is like Aintree after the Grand National going by the TSG highlights of Cork v Wexford It's gotten to the stage now where their ineptitude is not even mildly entertaining anymore. It was always tinged with a bit of sympathy that they were going down the swanny while I also couldnt help but marvel at what new feet of idiocy had been visited upon Cork GAA. Now- it's just utter pity that I have for them

The GAA should be calling in CAB to look at the whole tendering process. www.gaa.ie/news/pairc-chaoimh-will-available-host-2017-munster-finals/

Cork got a right thumping off Clare who dished out a 3-13 to 1-10 beating in Ennis today. Moreover, it looks like a fall to Division 3 is looming on the horizon for Cork who currently sit in the basement of division 2. Not good news for the Rebels and not good news for Kerry constrained as we are by the provincial system. Change has got to come!
