The draw is being made on Terrace Talk this evening.
Hard to see anybody getting close to Crokes this year.

Don't think anyone will get close to Crokes.
Divisional teams would want to have been training from early in the year to seriously challenge...ot sure many have to be honest

We need to find players this year for Kerry from this years Championship. We need to find a Midfielder a Keeper and a couple of Backs at least.
Crokes v Kierans is my game to watch my team but Rathmore v Legion with the rivalry could be a rough game.
South Kerry v Kenamre will be entertaining. High scoring match I think.

When is this fixed for? I assume the county board will run this off without delay. With no intermediate/junior etc and county league almost done and dusted its a nice position for them to be in for a change

Crokes are overwhelming favourites with Dingle clear second favourites according to the bookies - somewhat surprised by Dingle being in that position.

Championship kicks off next weekend with four games down for decision. Is the format the same as last year with the eight R1 winners playing for four quarter final berths. The eight losers play off for four to exit the championship ......

After tonight's victory under 21 Can East Kerry put a team together out of abundance of young talent. Maybe they lack a hard edge in defence and a midfield partner for Kieran Murphy.
They have a lot of Kerry juniors to choose from with three Kerry seniors for one year only as Kilcummin heading back to Championship next year.
I'm sure I'll miss a few players below but the panel should be strong.
Kealy, Myers
Sherwood, Niall Donahue, Pa Warren, Darren Brosnan, Dj o connor, Shane Courtney, Chris o donoghue, Dan o Brien, Dani Donoghue, Shane Cronin, Sean o Leary, Maher
Kieran Murphy, Gorman, Shane MCSweeney, Kearney if fit, Fintan Coffey,
Kevin McCarthy, Paudie and David Clifford, Duggan, Dara Roche, Jeff and Lee O Donoghue, Padriag de Bruin, Evan Cronin, Dara Moynihan, Donnacha O Sullivan, Ronan buckley,

County Championship starts this weekend.
Crokes v St Kierans - Crokes
Rathmore v Legion - home advantage to help Rathmore to victory
Mid Kerry v An Ghaeltacht - hard one to call, some of the Mid Kerry clubs are struggling this year (Glenbeigh, Milltown and Laune Rangers all relegated) and Beaufort players might be watching themselves for the Munster Junior campaign. Mid Kerry just to shade it
South Kerry v Kenmare - I hear South Kerry have been preparing well all Summer so expect them to come through

Crokes came from 5 points down at one stage to win by a goal 1-18 to 2-12. Would like to hear from somebody who saw this game. Are Crokes slipping?

Crokes looked tired yesterday and didn’t play that well It was the bench that won it for them especially introduction of Kieran O Leary Unfortunately St. Kieran’s had to start their bench as they made 7 changes from program before throw in A good game to watch but Crokes will be glad to scrape through

Brendans beat West Kerry today by 4 points. West Kerry ended up with 3 A.N others starting- I thought those days were confined to history. Looks shoddy enough

We are letting our standards drop across the board these days

So are West Kerry gone totally for 2018?
Four winners from weekend 1 - Crokes, S Kerry, Legion & Mid Kerry to be joind by another 4 winners from next weekend.
Four losers from weekend 1 - St Kierans, Kenmare, Rathmore & Gaeltacht awaiting four losers from next weekend.
Are there matches every weekend from here or are there breaks in the schedule?
