Austin Stacks champions. Two of Kilcummin, Desmonds and Na Gaeil to go up as well.
Currow and Listowel relegated. Dogfight to avoid third relegation spot.

Wins for Milltown/Castlemaine and Ardfert move both clubs to 9 points, leaping both Dromid and Kenmare on 8. Kenmare need to beat Kilcummin, assuming Dromid beat Listowel, to make a play-off. Or 6 teams could finish on 10 points....chaos.

You would assume Ballymac will beat an already relegated Currow taking them out of the equation. Dromid should also beat Listowel at home bringing them to 10 points. Kenmare at home prepping for senior championship with all their county players back should have enough for Kilcummin though that will be a real close game. It will most likely all come down to Ardfert/Milltown to see how this pans out. a 4 or 5 way playoff will be the last thing the county board want

A couple of clubs who are usually very active on Twitter with score updates were conspicuously quiet during their game today.
The mobile coverage must have been poor around Glenflesk. 0-19 each, what a thriller!

Is this Na Gaeil's first time in Division 1 of the senior league? Club is doing very well at juvenile level - they won U16 Division one final (beating Crokes) last week so the conveyor belt is in full flow.

I think this will be their first time in Div 1 - yes invested a lot into their underage structure the last 10 years which is starting to bear fruit for them now...

Well done to Na Gaeil, great run up through the divisions for them. Quick return to the top table for Stacks and Kilcummin too. Listowel informed Dromid they were conceding the game yesterday at 11 o clock, 2 hours before throw in, thats not good enough really and unfair on the other teams in the relegation battle. There should really be some kind of incentive for the final round of games because there are stil a few dead rubbers and alot of the results were predictable enough.

Can’t believe Milltown/Castlemaine relegated to division 3 were a county championship side 2 years ago great win by ardfert to stay up heard that Pat o Driscoll resigned from his duties as manager after the match what praise he deserves for keeping an old team with what I presume will have a lot of retirees in division 2

Milltown are a team on the slide a bit like their neighbours Laune Rangers in terms of rebuilding - stalwarts like Mick Burke, Ian Twiss retired in last couple of years from senior football - Donal Kelliher doesn't play a whole pile any more either a fine club footballer - so they are in transition and will need infusion of young blood in next few years.
Don't know what is going on in Listowel but they seem to be in a bad way - is it youth coming through is the problem or not have the right men at the helm? A big town like them should not be struggling like this.
