FT NUIG 2-12 DIT 0-15 FT UCD 0-12 UU 0-12 - UUJ levelled in injury time - Extra-time to come. Brian O'Seanachain was first sub for UCD around the 40 minute mark. How is Brian O'Seanachain on Kerry's panel yet can't make UCD's starting team? This seems a very strange management decision on UCD's part. A seriously strong UCD team that's why. Kicked the winner tonight though to be fair.

Paul Murphy is Kerrys best player now, he didn't play underage for Kerry, so to dismiss a kid who has known nothing but success in the green and gold (except for under 21s) and green and white of the club is very harsh and unfair.

Footage from last night's games.
Some nice football played and decent scores in fairly horrible conditions.
Also the numbers on the UCD jerseys are pretty much completely illegible. A complete waste of time.
UCD v UUJ
UCD v UUJ (extended)
NUIG v DIT

So UCD and NUIG have one player each playing with Corofin in the club SF also on Saturday. Tough on the 2 players to have to make that choice and miss out on one of the biggest days in their GAA careers. TG4 have the Sigerson final Sat 3:30pm www.hoganstand.com/Fixtures/Kerry and Monaghan also have one player each (Jack Barry and Conor McCarthy) playing with UCD, and I hope they will be left to spend the night with their college team mates and not travel to Iniskeen. In other college football, the Freshers (first years) of Maynooth University beat UCD 1-13 to 0-10 to avenge the Sigerson result. Bizarre scenes at half-time as UCD tried to change the referee.

Seeing as it was a high possibility of at least one corofin player being in the sigerson final, and seeing that the all Ireland final that corofin are trying to get into isn’t on til March, surely the gaa could have easily prevented this by postponing the club semi final by a week of f they considered it before last weekend

It's very unfair on the two players and wrong from the GAA. They obviously have shown great commitment to their colleges by putting themselves at risk for their club and get to an AI Final and the GAA won't allow them playing. Obviously they will play with their clubs but they shouldn't be forced to miss such a big game. Where was the ref from? The ref in the Sigerson semi final was from Tyrone and played 6 mins injury time to allow UUJ level. Surely this was wrong to appoint a Tyrone ref.

Something to look at going forward alright seeing as there is such a gap between the club provincials, semis and final.

As diego states Moorefield V Corofin is live on the the regular TG4. For those living outside Ireland in order to get TG4 live one should consider subscribing to a Virtual Private Network (VPN) I would highly recommend ExpressVPN. Just set your IP address to Ireland. There are different packages, the best are longer term. I got 15 months for $99, well worth it. NordVPN is also very good. Even for privacy alone a VPN should be a must and with ExpressVPN one subscription can be used on three different devices.

Level at half time here. UCD 1.05. NUIG 0.08.
Trying to watch four things at the same time... Jack Barry, Barry o Sullivan, Con o Callaghan and the match. Very nice, clean game with Damien Comer impressing. Barry o Sullivan playing staying around the middle while Jack Barry has more penetration and the goal came from one of his incisive runs.
You wouldnt pick out Con today but he has started to move out towards CHF and will be more influential there.
Joe is the ref

Kieran Molloy on for NUIG after making his way from Tullamore. Silke is meant to be on his way!

The wing back from Corofin with the ponytail is just after coming on for NUIG. That game finished barely an hour ago in Tullamore.
Madness.

Ridiculous alright! Some difference in the pitch surfaces. Tullamore was shocking!

UCD just about deserved it.
NUIGS luck goal brought them into it and the second goal should have set them on the road to victory but UCD fought hard to grind it out.
Very enjoyable game.

I thought they were a good pairing today.
Barry OSullivan sat on the eggs while Jack Barry foraged to borrow Con Houlihans description of Seanie Walsh and Jacko from back in the day.
Liam Casey got the equalizer and the winner. A big day for the Tipp man.
