This is great as we are all supporting the same cause but we must also be honest with each other -the forum is always controlled by the executive and while that is only right and proper, we must not pretend otherwise.
I am duly concerned that the opening statement says the executive will be anonymous, did they mean independent? I sense a fricticious border here and do ya know what I'm goin' to do, run like hell! All us angels will welcome such a move, then the first issue and it will be skin and hair! Tomasisín Crean is short odds to be the first to draw the sword, betting is without the favourite as I am a non runner!
An sure, welcome lads, baptism of fire from Ballythefireside!

Unless you are living on Mars you will be aware of the wall to wall disenchantment with the invisible numbers on the Kerry jerseys. It is bad enough with the seniors but at least we are familiar with those players to a large degree but it is impossible with underage players who are mostly new to us. I was at the u17 match last Tuesday and it was a nightmare trying to identify the individual lads.
I am not sure if this issue is being addressed by the Executive, at least nothing seems to,have changed. Peculiarly, it seems to be confined to the Kerry jerseys. Somebody said to me that the gold hoop is the problem. It does not seem to be a problem with the Tipperary jerseys,
What if anything is being done about this issue.? Why does it appear to be only a Kerry problem? I am old enough to remember to Kerry jerseys with a black number on a white square-easily decipherable. By and large the Executive do an excellent job but this has been a live issue for several years with no apparent effort to rectify the situation.
Could you give us some feedback on this irksome situation please.

A few years ago the county board used offer a weekend ticket to supporters, the ticket covered games in the county football and hurling championships, you could buy the ticket in Super Valu, very handy for supporters who would go to all the games outside of their own club games
Any plans to bring back something similar in the future?

At the recent St Brendans O Dorney Senior Championship replay the programmes werent available at the gate and were printed late just before the throw in,programmes were also late for the Intermediate Hurling final and now the opening rounds of the minor hurling championship there is no programmes available.
Would this happen in the football competitions at the same grades?
Improvement needed going forward

Improvement needed going forward some of the minor hurling championship quarter finals had very good crowds, a pity things fell down on some fronts Both Kilgarvan and Saint Brendans put a massive effort into their intermediate championship campaigns, the day of the final players and patrons deserved better than that. programme arriving late for a final is just Killanskully stuff

Thank you for the comments re the jersey. Please note that this is being looked at by the Executive
Hopefully GAA Officer/Executive you have now sorted out the invisible numbers problem on the new Kerry jerseys and those of us with a 'bit of age' on us will be able to read these numbers.

Why would anyone buy this when the season ticket is available?

Post by buck02 on Nov 30, 2017 11:54:44 GMT
Why would anyone buy this when the season ticket is available? Scheme is €600 over 5 years and includes a signed jersey (jersey is €65 to buy). So a little under €110 a year. Season ticket is €130 a year now and who knows what it will be next year or the year after. Scheme is aimed at people who probably cant or wont be able to make the 60% attendance criteria for AI final tickets. Its the same cost as supporting the Kerry Lotto but with the added bonus of a guaranteed AI final ticket.

Yes, very much aimed at those who won't make many matches as it does not include league, the first round of the championship and the 5 Euro discount which is included within the season ticket
