Corner Back Marc O'Sé (37) this month. Centre back Aidan O'Mahony (once he gets back from the VIP style awards!).

This is the one thing that bugged me about Galvin, he never gave anything to Finuge over the years. He now plays with Plunketts. I would be disappointed if I was a Finuge club mate. He was living in Killarney for a while, hardly a long commute!

Not playing in the county championship a few weeks after been parachuted in the 2015 All-Ireland final was difficult to stomach in the absence of playing club football that year. Terrible optics for both Paul & Eamonn. Hard to see what the current playing in Dublin is all about?

Genie Farrell is waiting for the over 44 selection. Is Johnny Driscoll still playing? I doubt it. Maybe a bit with the Bs but I don't actually know. I am a fair weather supporter.

They also played division 1 football while he was there. To say he didn't give anything to Finuge is a bit harsh. I agree in his later years he abandoned the club a bit. The whole Oliver Plunketts thing is to keep him relevant. It's important for his social media platforms.

He was unfit after the 2015 final if i recall... That was established at the time. The brogans mother is from around Finuge so there would be an affinity with them i would say.

Apparently Paul Galvin was on the Ray D'Arcy TV how last week and said he was too young to give up playing club football or words to that effect and that is why he joined a Dublin Club. I didn't see the programme so that may not be 100% accurate.
Aidan O'Mahony has stolen a serious march on him in the PR stakes so he has work to do on that front.

That is what he said alright but I'd take it with a pinch of salt. Agree re Aidan, he looked very well in a blue suit somewhere during the past week!

Fair play to these lads, massive commitment to be soldiering away at their age, however it just shows how much the rural clubs are struggling.

Brendan Dorgan still going well on the forty for Lispole at 38 I have to say Lispole are a great club in this regard. Guys play on as long as they can at some level for them. They wouldn't have a huge pick but they make the very most of it. You would know you were in a game with them after for a few days too.

Was at the Milltown Rangers game couple of weeks back - in fairness Lyons and John Sheehan still well able both had excellent games for the Laune siders - Mike Frank came on late and steadied things too. Damien Murphy and Mick Burke still ploughing away for Milltown. It's great that all the guys mentioned on this thread are still playing with their clubs - their appetite to the game and dedication to their clubs is commendable. Genie Farrell, Noel Kennelly, Stephen Sullivan etc - have given great service over the years.
