I thought the rule around the get three black cards in a season and you are automatically suspended for a game dictated that every subsequent black card carried an equal sanstion for the remainder of the league and championship for that year. Here under are the frequently asked questions in the official GAA site. Number 9 clearly states once the player Ceres his sanction then his slate is clear.
As far as I can remember jack Barry has two black cards, I think we may have an other player on two as well. I know it's cynical but wouldn't Eamon Fitz be a wise man to get jack to pull a player down in the closing minutes of the next game. I'd rather be without jack in a Munster Final than in a far bigger game in August or September. I know it's not a sporting thing to do but as far as I am concerned it's a wise thing to do. Losing a player of his calibre in a dogfight could cost us the championship. Especially when at least one of his blacks was more of an awkward tackle than a cynical one.. Food for thaught,,
