So it's nearly here and the weather has decided to make one feel that buzz about c'ship football (if it stays) anyway my predictions for the weekend. Finuge, ballymac Churchill Beaufort , castle Gregory , Firies, keel, g beigh/g car , na Gaeil , Renard , Bally donough, st pats, Listowel, Annaascaul, listry. Fossa (not a confident guess as dromid at home are really sticky). A draw fossa in replay. A winner (I'm going top 3 potential for now) Listowel, Ballydonoghue and glenbeigh/ glencar as they are div 1 and will be in the mix. I'm not putting € where my mouth is as I'm sure to get at least 4-6 wrong. That's the fun in such a tough c'ship. Div 1 team should be winning this but as Glenbeigh showed last year that is not always the case, still they will get to semi final of final. Listowel, Ballydonoghue, Listry & Beaufort other contenders for me.

My predictions anyone hazzard a go am i wrong or right? Finuge v Winners of (A) Finuge all day long Listry V Moyvane Listry should win Lispole V Listowel Emmet's Be closer than people think but Listowel for me Piarsaigh Na Dromada V Fossa Hard to call this one but Dromid home advantage just about Ballymacelligott V Cordal Ballymac should win here Knocknagoshel V Glenbeigh /Glencar Division 1 v Division 5 their can only be one winner Keel V Winners of ( B) Keel Castlegregory V St Senan's Senans for me here Renard V Tarbert Tarbert Annascaul V Sneem/Derrynane Annascaul dark horse for competition Na Gaeil V Cromane Na Gaeil Duagh V St Pats Blennerville St. Pats Beaufort V Valentia Beaufort should win here but Brendan Sullivan be handful Beale V Churchill Be a close game here Beale at home should pull through Scaraglin V Ballydonoghue Ballydonoghue could give it a go this year Asdee V Firies Fires Agree with most of them except think Fossa could just get over Dromid and home advantage key to Renard beating Tarbert.

Beaufort were fairly comfortable winner's over Valentina tonight, Brendan O'Sullivan seemed to be struggling midway through the first half and came off in the second half, started full forward which seemed a strange decision if he was fully fit as Valentina barely threatened Beauforts half in the first quarter of the game, hope he is okay for next week as he has done very well for Kerry when introduced and always impressed

Beaufort were fairly comfortable alright Niall o conner should be very dissapointed not to start fine young player fast skillful and after getting a lot stronger....possible consideration for Kerry u21 nxt year. If he can't get on his club team he won't be next or near the Kerry u21s

Ballymac 0-12 Cordal 1-6 Beale 0-17 Churchill 3-9 Beaufort 0-14 Valentia 0-7 Castlegregory 0-9 Senans 2-14 Asdee 1-6 Firies 0-11 Keel 0-14 Ballyduff 1-10 Knock 1-6 Glenbeigh 0-17 Renard 1-12 Tarbert 1-11 Na Gaeil 5-18 Cromane 1-4
Very big win for Renard, stock must have seriously fallen in Tarbert, were only in division 1 a few years ago

Moyvane with a big win away to Listry. Kick in the pants to Listry! Emmets pushed all the way by Lispole as well! Good win by Renard, but one has to fear for Cromane. They took a walloping.

Todays results
Annascaul 2-19 0-8 Sneem/Derrynane Dromid Pearses 1-14 1-9 Fossa Duagh 2-5 3-11 St Patrick's Blennerville Lispole 2-12 2-13 Listowel Emmets Listry 1-11 2-12 Moyvane Scartaglin 0-8 3-14 Ballydonoghue
A few suprising results over the two days. Biggest upset would be Moyvane beating Listry away. Big wins by Na Gaeil and Ballydonoghue.

2 Surprises for me are Moyvane to upset the odds against a Listry team who i could only imagine are dejected after that loss! Renard beating Tarbert another surprise

St.Senans v Dromid Hard to call this game it will be some battle if i had to Senans with home advantage but only just Churchill v Ballydonoghue Ballydonoghue flying could go all the way i think Emmets v Beaufort Another battle here maybe just emmets impossible to call really Keel v Finuge Championship brings out the best in North Kerry teams i think Finuge will sneak this one Na Gaeil v Ballymac Na Gaeil should win here Annascaul v Renard Annascaul should win here St.Pats v Glenbeigh Glenbeigh will be put to the pin of their collar in this one but think they will pull it off!

Listry losing to Moyvane is one of the most disappointing results I have ever seen, totally depressed as I was sure we would go a long way in this championship.

I have no doubt Listry took Moyvane for granted and when they realised they were in a battle it was too late. The whole parish of Listry is in shock, we really wanted to give the junior a good rattle this year but just goes to show you championship is a strange beast.

Think a lot of us were surprised by this result. Even more so as the game was played in Listry. Were you at the game? Where did Listry go wrong?

moyvane will battle all the way against firies, senans hard to beat at home, ballydonoghue the form team of the moment, listowel good nk ch ship team but doubts remain in county competitions, finuge have it all to do to get even near the 2005 to 12 winning teams, questin marks remain over glenbeigh and won t be dispelled untill they win it

I'm just wondering is this set up where all teams below the intermediate grade play in the one competition here to stay or do the first round losers drop and form what is the novice in all but name from next year again.

Does this mean listry will be playing novice next year or is it the same thing as this year everyone from novice and junior play?

Listry lads on here are a panic!!! Yere actually embarrassing yourself here airing out your dirty laundry in public. Looking in from the outside expectations are crazy over there and everyone appears to be a football mastermind when it comes to giving their opinions! shouldnt be loosing to Moyvane all the same but a long ways off wining a junior.
Na Gaeil and Ballydonoghue picking up serious momentum. Both teams with exciting young players. Surprised if they both don't make the semis. Whoever wins Beaufourt and Emmets are in with a right shout too. If they avoid each other the champions will come from the winner of that game and the Na Gaeil Ballydonoghue

Firies St senans ballydonoghue Listowel Keel Na Gaeil Annascaul Glenbeigh
My predictions, some very good games here wouldn't be surprised if a few went to extra time. Home advantage will be key for some.

The rest of the games didn't Spring any major surprises. Next few weeks will set some clubs up nicely for the summer. Others will find it hard to raise morale after the weekend.

I wrote this long before I posted it , so sorry , listry guys are a disgrace talking about club players like that. If it was you or your son playing and being slammed by some fool on a public forum , how would you like it. A small bit of cop on please.
