Is their a role of honour anywhere online for this competition - The Kerry GAA website is very poor when it comes to information about previous winners of most competition with Wikipedia being the best repository of historic information. Looking online I could only find club sites with bits of info - Crokes won it in 1986 and 2011, Laune Rangers in 1990 and 1995, Tralee District in 2001 - has the cup a list of previous winners?

It must take a serious crop for a club team to win looking at the roll of honour.

anybody know the results from the first round of the U21 Club championship scheduled for this week - say a couple of results on twitter but the Kerry website does not appear to have the full result.

It occurred to me when watching him with the minors last year that his solo running ability is lovely to watch. Few players turn it into an art form and Paul Galvin is probably the greatest exponent of the skill

Would it not make more sense to play this before the under 21 panel is picked or at least around the time of the championship. Walkovers are given because most lads who are in their final year at under 21 level and no real incentive to play. Maybe play the tournament as an under 20s competition and allow it to form the backbone of picking next years panel

Five (out of 8) first round games in the U21 Club championship conceded without a ball being kicked!!!!!! Jeez that's fairly brutal stuff especially when you see how many amalgamated teams there are in there. Can anyone throw any light on the reason for the concessions?

U21 Club quaterfinals down for decision this week - games fixed for mid-week which is a terrible insult to our U21's as many of them are away now that the college year has kicked off for many. Why run the competition in this manner is beyond me. Although I see at least one has been re-fixed (I presume by agreement) for Friday. Spa host Gaeltacht, Legion host John Mitchels and Annascaul/Lispole/Castlegregory (a club???) host Rahillys on wednesday evening with Crokes hosting Dingle on Friday.

Three of the four QF's now played with Mitchels V Legion down for this Wednesday. Interestingly the County Champions (Rahilly's) were beaten by 1 pt by the west kerry "club" of Annascaul/Lispole/Castlegregory - in fact the three seeded teams (best performing clubs in Co Championship) have all been beaten by narrow margins in the QF's. The four seeded teams only joined the competition in R3 and all had to play away.

Make that all four seeded teams out in QF's - they all came into the competition cold and had away games to get over - four close games but all went to the teams that played in earlier rounds. Has the SF draw been made and when are the games scheduled for?
