Was at both games yesterday. Senans struggled to get over asdee. They played poor in the first half and improved a bit in the second half. They won by 3 or 4 points but always looked comfortable in the second half. The second semi final was a lot better match to watch with lispole winning by a point at the finish. Ballydonoghue will be kicking themselves that they let their 3 point lead slip at the end but in fairness to lispole they missed a couple of goal chances near the end of the second half and at the start of extra time that would have put them in a very strong position to win. However the Ballydonoghue forwards when ever they were fed ball looked dangerous and put them 3 points in front with a minute of extra time remaining until declan o Sullivan finished a good move to the net. The lispole keeper poped over a beauty of a 45 to win it. Lispole dominated around the middle the whole game and this was the platform for their win. If Ballydonoghue could have won more ball and supplied the forwards with more ball they could be facing into the novice final.
Senans and lispole is a very tough one to call. Senans look well balanced all over their team. But lispole with declan o Sullivan and Ryall up front will be a solid outfit aswel. I think a lot of it will depend on the midfield battle whoever comes out on top there will more than likely come out with the victory. It will be a very close game and could go either way.

congrats to senans who played their best football of the year,in defeating a gallant lispole in the novice final.Senans used their pace to play fast attacking football, wheras previous final defeats seemed to weigh on lispole shoulders.still with lispole 6 down in 2nd half they bought back to a point with minutes remaining.D somers with a monster catch in last kickout made sure the halfway men were not going to be beaten .Quille and okeefe got great scores, kerry hurlers weir and nolan experience in big games vital, somers dominated the centre, allthe backs played well with minor adrian mahony covering all across the backline to great effect
