I can't see that happening, Kerry and Donegal always seem to change when playing in the league. The only way I see out of wearing the blue strip is if Kerry wear a green jersey without the gold hoop. I was initially concerned about how they would look, but as mentioned in today's article, Donegal's jersey has less green, and it could be similar to playing Antrim... Donegal wear green shorts and socks. It's going to be difficult for TV viewers especially IMO.

Wearing blue would not have any worries for me.I'm pretty sure Kerry won wearing blue in 1970 v Meath and I think Kerry also changed when winning v Offaly in 1969.

I like the blue. I can make out the numbers on the jerseys,
The time that I can recall Kerry losing in blue was the 1972 replay.
They wore blue in 1986 semi v Meath too

came across this old post from 2005 that makes interesting reading in the current thread. Mar 13, 2005 at 8:25pm Quote Post Options Post by falveyb2k on Mar 13, 2005 at 8:25pm Kerry used to wear white but when they went to Waterford they needed a change of jerseys and Waterford gave them some green and gold jerseys. On an incidental note, Kerry won an All Ireland against Meath wearing the Dingle colours as they were county champions at the time. In fairness, Adidas stayed supplying gear to Kerry for a long time despite not being able to display the logo. Usually there was a big 'G' for Guaranteed Irish on it. The jersey Kerry wore from 1988 to 1995 or so was recognisably an Adidas jersey.:
Does anyone know were I could get this vintage jersey, I have tried Adidas and even the county board, now and again some appear on ebay but never last too long, I know Retro GAA do the 1939, 59, 79 and the 1981 Jersey. But can anyone shed any light on the topic?
