When was the last time there was four Templenoe players in a Kerry panel. They must be doing something right down there lately And there continuing to do so. Have some very good underage prospects. They've quietly gone about their business, well done to them. I only hope they can keep them out of the clutches of the "bigger clubs", and not suffer the same faith as Tuosist!!

Shocked Eanna O Connor is there, barely started the minor team last year and when he did he was taken off in nearly all of them

In the first three NFL games Cork have used four of this year's U21s- Dorman, Crowley, Vaughan and Brian O Driscoll. Also from last year's team Kiely, Maguire, Mac Eoin and Sugrue are all young enough I think. Brosnan is injured and Cadogan is playing senior hurling so has ruled himself out.

Hi guys, any news on Jamie Moriarty from John Mitchels, he looked like a very promising coner fwd when he was in with Kerry minors. Is he underage again next year for 21s.
Also considering this is a straight knock out what will happen with the players from this squad. Meaning, i had a quick scan through and i am not aware of any players getting a run in the senior squad.
Surely there will be a development panel focusing on these guys from ages of 20 - 25?

There isn't such a panel and it's to Kerry's detriment I feel. there is a leakage of talent around the Under 21 age group which is a shame. A development squad of 60 or so fellas, aged 19-22 would be of great benefit. Apparently this was proposed to the county board a few years ago and they rejected it.

The reports coming through are not very positive but its probably only this last week and a half that everybody will have been available together since Christmas so hopefully they can gel quickly and get a result next Wednesday.
Cork players will be buoyed by the form of their seniors, so a win against Tyrone this weekend might just make the mood a small bit more positive throughout the county.

I dont think he has played there at county level but he has played there for Rahilly's seniors in county championship so should be more than capable of playing there I would think.

So would you start him at 11 or not at all? Yes I was presenting you with 2 scenarios there not one! I know it could be construed either way- but I guess what I meant is do you think he will start at 11 or do you not think he will start at all? I have it on fairly good authority that Gary O Leary will be at 11

First it was he'd never played wing forward now its just at intercounty level. If hes as good a player as hes supposed to be then he should have no problem playing wing now should he?

It will be interesting to see how we set up- will we drop an extra man back- I wouldn't be surprised to see us have only 4 out and out forwards with 1 extra defender and 1 auxiliary midfield player

Any one have any ideas of the team?.. presume it has be selected already just hasn't been announced. Kerry are 7/4 to win out Munster at second favorites while cork are 2/1 .. with Tipp evens.

Team was named today after training - I have heard 1 or 2 bits from individual players but don't know full team as of yet. Should be released either tonight or tomorrow morning I'd imagine

Also Greg Horan continues his tour of every position in the green and gold
