Let any young people going up on the Hill represent Kerry well.
Kerry should always show their class in Croke Park.

just on this topic about "bad tickets". going off some lads here, i had one of those...yet myself and my wife had a brilliant view and no complaints.
but i did get a good chuckle when I seen 2 members of last years panel plus one of our most famous players of all time sitting in the same section and thought of lads here not being happy with those tickets, yet they are good enough for those lads.
when it comes to the business end of the year, theres no such thing as a bad ticket.

Had my worst ticket ever for a final yesterday (and I've been in the Old Nally stand). Low down in the Cusack, soaked wet and limited view.

Folks.. A question for the brains trust here.. I used to be the proud owner of a season ticket for many a year. But I can't remember some of the terms and conditions that applied and they most likely have changed since 2012. I'm sure my queries have been answered in this thread but I'm sure I'll be forgiven not to have to trawl through a mire of pages.
1. Is there still a requirement to attend over 70% of games throughout the year to be guaranteed an All Ireland final final ticket should Kerry get there?
2. I recall being able to sit alongside my buddies in arms who had season tickets with me back in the daym. Having soldiered the length and breadth of the country our just reward was to be seated alongside each other come the big day. Is this still an option to get your seats side by side at a potential All Ireland final? Or is it random allocation?
Thanks in advance and apologies if it's been answered already.

You can opt out only from ONE championship game to be eligible for All Ireland final ticket - no attendance requirement in place. 2. Not sure on this - May be possible for all games but not for final - final this year was a complete lottery.

If I buy a season ticket, can I buy a juvenile ticket to a random league match ?

Not that I am aware of apart from just buying one online. Seating is generally first come first seated for league games.
A juvenile season ticket is quite cheap anyway but not suitable if you are not going to go to mist championship games

Unfortunately point 1 is not correct as I got stung for the final this year for not making 60% of matches despite having the Club+ season ticket. Not sure when that changed but I was in contact with Ticketmaster and then the GAA with no success who both told me 60% attendance was required regardless of the type of season ticket purchased. The attendance requirement has never been an issue until this season with the added games

This is from the T & Cs below: “ In order to qualify for an All-Ireland Final ticket you must purchase your championship match tickets through your online account here am.ticketmaster.com/gaaseasontickets/. You can opt out of one championship fixture and still qualify for an All Ireland Final ticket“ E-mail regarding final tickets: “ GAA Season Ticket 2023 A Chara Congratulations, because you purchased all or used only one opt out for your counties championship fixtures you have qualified for an All-Ireland Football Final Ticket purchase.”

My understanding that the attendance rule was gone. But you were still charged for games you miss apart from the opt out.

That’s my understanding too - however, you have to apply for tickets now rather than being charged. Yes you no longer get allocated tickets automatically, you must manually purchase them. Attendance rule definitely back in from my exchanges with Ticketmaster and the GAA, it came as a major surprise and disappointment when I found out the hard way. Happened to another lad I know as well. People should be mindful of that next year with the extra games. It also seems unfair to add matches and still only allow one opt out.

To answer both queries to the best of my knowledge:
1) Tickets must be purchased on the Season Ticket portal. I wasn't aware of any 60% or 70% tally but was aware that you could only opt out (not pay) for 1 game. Once you miss a 2nd game without paying for your ticket you move out of qualification for All-Ireland tickets.
2) You cannot choose who you sit with, I had to merge my account with my partners so we both have the same account number, this ensures we sit together. I had to email the GAA season ticket office to get this done. In terms of bringing a friend, I did this when we got to Croke Park. Purchased 305 tickets and had to transfer them so I could get an extra ticket for my friend and ended being seated in section 309.

No attendance rule here. I missed all the league games and three championship ones but paid in line with the rules and got a final ticket

No attendance rule here. I missed all the league games and three championship ones but paid in line with the rules and got a final ticket Only applies to championship. There were 9 championship matches this year so on the above, you met the 60% threshold required to qualify for an All Ireland final ticket.

There used to be a requirement that you had to attend 70% of Kerry’s games to qualify for an AI ticket if you were a Season ticket holder. That requirement is no longer there. Attendance is no longer checked. It’s now based purely on the purchase of tickets.

It was 60% and if your season ticket was 100% and your county didn't reach the final they held a draw for the chance to buy a final ticket. I got one ticket through this. I doubt that is still a thing.

I think the confusion has arisen from my loose terminology, apologies.
I checked my emails with the Ticketmaster and the GAA and yes there's no attendance requirement but a minimum of 60% of championship tickets must be purchased which you must manually do unlike previous where tickets were automatically bought and allocated.
I don't know if it's just me but the previous system and bring a friend option seemed easier all round.

First time renewing, when does renewal generally become available? I renewed in late October last year so shouldn't be too much longer. This is actually late compared with other years.
