anyone know of good fitness gaa training programmes, maybe taylored towards players who train 3 times a week, is it best to do 2 days cardio like running and one day of weights?

I dont know what level you play at but in general. Do weights training for the winter 3-4 times a week to develop muscle mass and strength (november - december) and in january burst the gut with sprints, shuttle runs, high intensity training etc 2-3 times a week. while doing maintenance weight training 1-2 times a week. This should give you a good head start if your club starts back training in february.
