Fingers crossed for the lads alright.
It would be a true testimony of how strong junior club football is in Kerry if we get to the final with Kerry clubs having won the last two All Ireland junior club finals.

This could be Stephen Wallaces big chance to nail down the full forward position for the Kerry Seniors

I again say to all of ye that know little about guys but seem to have a god like ability to judge....Like Mickmack says why couldn't he do a job for the seniors. Has he been even given a chance???NO so don't judge untill he has. He has al All Ireland U-21 medal and an All Ireland Club Medal in his pocket and has prooven himself at all levels right up to Senior but for some reason has never been given his shot. Put it this way to all ye experts if we were 2 points down with 5 minutes to go on Sunday I would rather spring Wallace than say Ronan O Connor or Ronan Hussey etc. He is a proven goal scorer even in the hallowed grounds of Croke Park so I agree with Mick Mack ans Steel fixer and say why not??

James Costelo is every bit of not better than Killian Young or Padraig Reidy in my humble opinion. Daniel Doyle will play Senior with Kerry next year or the year after definitely. Class defender!

Agree with the bit about Doyle, but as for the others it must definatley be April 1st. Okay we r playin meath in an all ireland semi, but this isnt even kerrys second best team or possibly third or fourth best team. There was a fella sub against cork in the munster final who couldnt make the st brendans team for the stacks game.
So lets not get carried away about bringing juniors into the senior set up. Ulster dont even play in the competition & Cork couldnt use any of last years panel.

The begrudgers on here always amuse me. Now I am open to correction on the following as it is only 3rd hand information but the Juniors played South Kerry(our current county champions) a few weeks back and the result was kept very hush hush. Why? Because the Juniors hammered them by 11 points. Now south kerry were missing Decland Sullivan, Sheehan and Ronan O Connor but they had everyone else! And it wasn't a full strength Junior team either beacuse that player you are talking about fiorgael started at full forward for the juniors that day!!! This is a better Junior team than they are being given credit for. All the so called great jujnior teams over the past few years have done shag all so give them a bit of credit and stop be beine the "animals" as a great man once referred to ye supporters as!!!

Im not saying they dont deserve credit. The players and management deserve great credit for the turn around in fortunes. All im saying is it is b***** saying that the juniors mentioned (doyle apart) are being mentioned here as senior material

Come on now realist in fairness Killian Young is a great player and I personally thiink that you are over estimating James costello a tad bit! nor is he better than Reidy! I agree about Doyle he is a great player but I wouldnt put him in next year maybe two years down the line!
Best of luck on saturday to all the team and management!

Lolly stick to looking pretty part. SW is no way near senior standard. He is one of these players where the papers want to over indulge in his heroics. he is a decent club player but that is all. In fairness Ronan has shown patches of form in the league over the year but its time to how it in the championship. If not he could join SW in the juniors next year

From what I have seen from the Juniors Wallace doesn't seem to be up to Kerry Senior standard in fact their forwards were poor against Cork in the first half the last day.
Saying that I'm not sure if he is much worse than Hussey or O Connor either (both excellent club players but I couldn't see them giving a quality back much trouble).
For me, and I'm beign biased here, but Andrew Garnett has been the Juniors most impressive player so far and if anyone is worthy of a Senior call up its him.
Sean Hegarty too is playing very well for them and Fergal Griffin really impressed when he came on against Cork. Doyle too even though he missed games with injury is a player I rate very highly.

Congrats to all concerned. Hopefully they can go all the way and bring the All Ireland home. Examiner had Denis O'Sullivan, Brian Hickey, James Costello, Ronan McAuliffe, Mike Murphy and John Buckley as playing well.
I am on record as saying Buckley could be our next number 15 if he can recapture the form he showed before his injury. An All Ireland medal will do his chances no harm.
