I heard on the news this morning that a facial injury sustained by a former Kerry All Ireland winner is being invesigated...
He has been transferred from 2 different hospitals and it is considered to be a serious injury...
Anyone else hear this?

ITs in todays Examiner. It is Stephen O'Sullivan Skellig Rangers and South Kerry who was injured in an off the ball incident. The paper says it came in a challenge game between Skellig Rangers and Valentia on Monday night. From the account in the paper it sounds a bad injury.

Best wishes to Stephen and hope he makes a full recovery. He has been a great servant to Kerry football and will be missed by South Kerry in their quest for the 3 in a row.

The police have been called in to investigate so their may be criminal charges not to mention GAA investigation based on ref's report.
