buck02, What you said is Lynch would be winding Galvin up. I just simply pointed out he does not play like that, i.e. winding people up. I am not for one minute saying he’s a saint, but you’d want to look a bit closer to home for players who do play like that.

Remember when he got a belt from big bad Barry Hall. As far as I know Lynch had called him "a big string of pi55". Great comment in fairness, but he should have thought about it a bit harder before winding up a man of Halls size.

no footballer is ever an angel for every single game he plays in, anthony lynch can goad with the best of em! iv heard and seen him! i think its funny the way way we've been pointing out for the past two (ish) years the "galvin is walking a thin line now etc etc" and he's still there playing his football, tough and hard, because thats the kind of player he is. and theres more fiery than donaghy too. i enjoy these players, they only give as good as they get and about time too!!

Hey Kerryman,
I can understand being somewhat cautious.
I try not to look backwards too much-waste of time in my books. Finished gone done. Let's move on now.
Looking forward opens up so much more possibilities. I spend more energy on the present and the future.
Looking forward to the games on the weekend now.
regards.

Just been on the orchardcounty.com site they are a bit unhappy about the off the ball incidents i.e gooch throwing the armaghs mans boot away galvin hitting mcgeeney etc., also saw Jarlath Burns on the championship last night cud not believe what i was hearing. Kerry were dirty and he showed the 3 incidents involving Galvin and then when they showed McKeever stomping on Declan he brushed it aside saying it was understandable and most disapointing to see McHugh agreeing

Re the interview I feel that a response along the lines of "sure these things happen in the heat of the moment, theres no hard feelings etc" would have been more suitable than the full explanation we got. . Totally agree ther buck - Thats the very first interview that I can remember where so much info was given - Normally players tend to (obviously they are usually told) say very little......... GIving too much info away can always come back and bite ye in the bum.

When the sideline for any team interfeers with the play is wrong. It hard enough to control a game not to mind one at that level. Galvin could have held his head but did not and was sent off for it but what of the Armagh sideline?? Constent verbal abuse to our lads?? Interfeering with players when running in with water??? Cant be allowed.

totally agree joe and his like should not be allowed get so involved with the action(JOC too) on the field. and having the likes of john toal as a "water carrier" is a bit ridiculous he came on with only one intention trying to get under our lads skin and unfortunatley it worked. the teacher really came out in Galvin tho toal was going off the field and that was that! like he was a kid misbehaving, off you go young mr.toal
