Heard yersterday the francie bellew has decided to retire from Armagh gaelic team but he is not leave ing corssmaglen yet. i am totally gutted.. but at the same time everyone has to remember what this fella has but us al through.

Theres a few others on the Armagh side that I thought were due to retire before him. I'd love to see him stay on and have another crack off Donaghy in 2007..

sorry to hear that bigmac, a top man.
to put it into perspective,francie has won 10 armagh senior championships in a row. he has won 5 ulster club championship medals(i think they might have lost one or two also), he has won 3 all-ireland club championships medals.
at county level he has won 6 senior ulster championship medals, one all-ireland senior championship,lost another final. and won one national league.
its a long road that has to end some where,i feel oisin and the mc entee's are knocking on the same door.i thought they have looked tired for a while.
that above collection of medals must ensure the crossmaglen players their place in gaelic games folklore, an unique collection of great footballers to come at the same time at the same club.All top lads.
