I'll go for: Beale Glenbeigh Kenmare St Pats Keel Ballyduff Skellig Firies
I'd say Ballyduff & Kenmare will be praying that their games dont go to extra time - they wont get home till the early hours of Sunday!

Beale 1-06 tarbert 0-09 after extra time. Tarbert started well before they lost best forward patsy connell who broke his collar bone. tough game in poor conditions, not much between the two teams but wud fancy tarbert to win the reply at home.

what happened the might of Ballyduff? The team that would beat us apparentely. 2-14 to 6 points against Renard!

Anyone know what happened in the Skellig Rangers vs Lispole game? Apparantly it was abandoned. Massive wins for Renard over Ballyduff and St Pats over Castlegregory which was a bit of a shock.

According to Murt Murphy in yesterdays papers there was a bit of a scrap, it got broken up, the ref hopped the ball (just to ease tensions - throw 10 fellas within a 10 yard radius of each other, good thinking!), fighting kicked off again and ref abandoned the game. To make a long story short.

Since there has already been 5 different versions of events posted here for the Lispole game, it would be best if none were accepted! It is just going to escalate into petty squabbling, and past experience has shown there is no point even trying to manage the posts.
So, leave it with buck02's comment, and note that future comments on the event will probably be removed.
Thanks. Admin

obviously ballyduff dont give a s*ite bout the junior chship.we hav to remember after all they are a hurling club.the big ball only comes second out there They dont care about much do they! They have talentwithout a doubt but the measure of a good side is giving it everything and winning competitions, too many teams in north kerry put no effort into anything besides north kerry championship sure tis no wonder there we have so many teams in the lower end of the leagues and championships.

obviously ballyduff dont give a s*ite bout the junior chship.we hav to remember after all they are a hurling club.the big ball only comes second out there Thats a load of cock to be honest ! They pedal out various versions of that excuse when it suits them ! After Abbeydorney beat them in the Hurling last year, a couple of them told me that the reason they lost was because: they were'nt interestd in the hurling, were happy just to knock Kilmoyley out and wanted to concentrate exclusively on the County Junior semi final and North Kerry SFC ! The result the last day was indicative of the bad attitude and unpredictability that runs through the Ballyduff club ! No disrespect to Renard, and fair play to them on a fine win ! But it should be Ballyduff beating them by 14 points ! I thought myself that they had turned the corner this year and that winning the North Kerry had turned them into a serious outfit, and that the days of losing to the likes of Kilgarvan at home in the county league and then beating Listowel with Tadhg K in their ranks in the North Kerry final a couple of months later were behind them, but obviously I was wrong ! It just shows that you can have all the talent in the world (in Ballyduff's case to match any of the big senior clubs), but if you don't have discipline, character and a good atttitude you are going no where ! Looking at the other results, there were a couple of surprises and impressive wins for a number of sides ! But its too early to try and predict a clear cut favorite !

I think 'The result the last day was indicative of the bad attitude and unpredictability that runs through the Ballyduff club' & 'Ballyduff not givin a s*ite about the Junior Chship' amount to the same thing u'll agree SteelFixer
Essentially what we re both trying to say is that Ballyduff are a bunch of headcases as any teams that play them well know !!!!

Is it true that only 13 players turned up to line out for ballyduff?

Lookit Ballyduff lost a football game....boo hoo!! So what? Every time that ballyduff loose a game be it football or hurling all hell breaks loose on this forum, from the player not giving a damn, to fall outs in the camp, to players not showing up, to players drinking etc etc etc. This happens in every small club in the county for any of ye that actually play with a club? ?Renard are a good team who have put together back to back promotions and play in a higher division than Ballyduff and are therefore entitled to beat them and to expect to have beaten them!
