Results from Aertel.
Rathmore 1-10 0-05 St. Mary's An Ghaeltacht 3-15 1-09 Gneeveguilla C' island/D 3-06 1-12 K. O'Rahillys Milltown/C 0-11 0-05 Kilcummin
Looking at this i would presume Ghaeltacht had Kerry players and so had Rathmore, anyone have reports on how games went?

Kilcummin lads said they were cat. Very bad. Gaeltacht gave Gneevguilla a right tarring didn't they.

Marys and kilcummin have had very bad starts to the year. I have a feeling they will struggle.

Kilcummin are down a few players and its hurting them. No doubting it, they are in for a fight and they know it.
Saying that Gneevguilla faded last year, Marys are no great shapes and Rathmore without the two boys will struggle.

Lads St Mary's are in disaray..they could not find someone to take them over at their AGM by all accounts and got a player to do it for them to save face..i watched a few South Kerry League matches and they struggled right through..Derrynane with all respect nearly beat them..however they were missing brian sheehan and maurice fitz..but fitz wont be seen playing ball till late summer except for the odd game such as intermediate..ithink they are easy pickings for points seeking Div 1 teams.. will def go down..

If I went near a pitch now I'd be hopeless. Although I'd make a stab at drinking outta the cup all right.

Id say Crokes, Rahillys, Stacks and Rangers will battle it out for div 1. Kilcummin and Mary's to stuggle.

Great win for Listowel against Stacks. A good start is half the battle in the county league.

Lads its nice to see everyone picked Rahilly's to walk away from castleisland with 2 points. Desmonds were up by 6 points with 10 minutes to go and can only blame themselves for not winning it. And I saw nothing from Rahilly's that would make me think they could challenge for much this year.

Great win for Listowel.. Christy has them flying fit and has given a lot of younger players a chance. Fngers crossed for the rest of the league.

A lot of rubbish has written about Listowels right to be in the Senior County Championship and most of it has been negative. Over the last 7 years Listowel have either been in Div 1 or close to promotion from Div 2. Their record in the champioship has been satisfactory for a team with little experience at that level with the exception of last year (Rahilly's get two bad goals late on, Mitchells get a late goal etc.....) which was poor. Hopefully this year will see some of the younger players being given a chance, but not all together. In some games last year (against Crokes for instance) too many younger players were asked to hold the line against seasoned footballers who just brushed them aside. Hopefully Christy will get the mix right and the Emmets can go back to playing the fast football they used to play a few years ago. A good start in any case!!!!

Gaeltacht will beat Kilcummin. I'd for Ranger over Stacks. Emmets to beat Marys Milltown over the Narries. Gneevguilla to fight back against Desmonds after a poor showing on the first day. Crokes to beat the Rathmore boys.

Lads there are so many teams who can beat each other on any given Sunday depending on the availability of players that these matches are very hard to call. Kerry players available and fresh this week should have a big bearing on results! You cant see Crokes or An Gaeltacht being beaten this weekend. G'Guilla will surprise Desmonds at home. Away wines for Milltown and Emmets!
