Nil aon tintean mar do Hill-tean fein. Cad a tharla Se aris? "Gradeoiraiocht"? Cad mar, "Gracnocadeoraiocht" - "Love of one's own Hill" :-*Joan, thanks for the concern, but Mr Tierney can reassure you in the strongest terms that he is a Gentleman of Fortune, a hardy creature who has weathered many worse storms in life, and who shall still be treading the concrete streets & marble squares of this barely recognisable old town for many's the long day yet! Besides dear lady, havent I only received the warmest of embraces into your esteemed family here, and I consider it the greatest of honours to be blessed with this time to share something of unique and wonderful specialness - a Championship with both Kerry & the Dubs in the Semis, and all to speculate about & dream of. Isnt it bleedin great! ;D

Micheal o Muirearthuirthig (is that how you spell it) mentioned on the radio during the match today that a bus left South Kerry at 3.45 am......... a round trip of over 400 miles............ and they would be in time to see the monor match at 12.30.

BTW, how come you werent at the match? If the poor outcasts of South Kerry can get going at 3.45 am, to see the minors & the ritual ex-Munster culling of de Rebels, what kind of supporter are you? A souped up Mazda left Rathcoole at 03:30 last friday night, and the occupants didnt get to Croker til 16:05 That'll tell you how hard it is to get across town with the DMP watching your every move.......If you're coming from Balbriggan, its a full weekend trip!

Rashers............ believe it or not but it is possible to be at a match in Croke Park and listen to the radio at the same time. Try it some time....... I managed it on Sunday.
By the way, isnt it great that Leitrim and Louth will be playing in Croker on Sunday as well as the minor match......... the 8000 or so Dublin supporters who go to the league matches should have no trouble getting tickets. Dont get ratty with me now...............

I'm more concerned about Meath fans on the Hill again this week, Jaysus you'd think we'd be granted at least ONE year free of the feckers......... Listening to de wireless in Croker now is it?! You must have one of those new-fangled "Walkman" yokebobs. Next time you're up, I recommend you purchase the Sony Sven Goran Ericcsson K750i with FM radio, it's deadly bud. I'll tell you more about it when you've calmed down & stopped cursing me..................
