I can't pick the manager or be responsible for what he says now can I? the west cork blood you refer to wouldnt be responsible for your opinion of Billy now would it! ;D ;D I didn’t say weather I agree with what Billy said or not. To be honest I stay neutral with all the whole Nemo/Billy versus the county debate. I follow Cork first, and putting down the manager or players because of who they play for doesn’t do anyone any good. No matter what criticism people (Cork ones anyway) might have of Billy Morgan, he has brought the Cork team on. Wasn’t it just over a week ago some people in Kerry thought Jack O’ Connor & co didn’t pick the right team for the final and went on about club allegiances etc. Yet these same people can now boast about winning yet another All Ireland.

Mayo's fans are great without a doubt. They get hammered and keep coming back for more. They deserve great credit and respect, players included. All this bearing in mind Declan was booed by his own up in Cork.
I hope Mayo's day comes soon and gives the fans something real to cheer about.

I was going to start ranting about Tyrone and Armagh again but instead thought I would relate this story.
I was at a league semi final against Meath a good few years ago in Limerick or Thurles (cant remember which) where Kerry played Meath. Kerry were beaten but I came away very hopeful about our future. Anyway Sean Walsh was sittin in front of me with his kids (one of whom i presume was a little Tommy). A Meath Zulu was roaring obsenities from beside Seanie and he politely asked him would he mind not using such foul language in front of the kids. The zulu turned to Seanie and shouted "F off you, what the F would you know about football anyway". I presume he didnt recognise the holder of a pile of all ireland medals.

Even though we don't play them, so technically they're not opposition.....
Kilkenny hurling supporters - know every inside out of every player and sliotar in the county and beyond.
And mad for the drink too.

most of the footballers support comes from clubs in the county not the city. And you can understand why as well, when you see how soft their city/suburb players like Nicholas Murphy and James Masters are compared to the tough country lads like Noel O'Leary, Graham Canty and Donncha O'Connor. By the way 'JO90', Nicholas Murphy is a farmers son, and would not like it one bit to be referred to as a townie ! Anyway in relation to the best supporters, we'll all have our different opinions, based on expieriences ! You'll find arrogant and annoying fcukers aswell as gentleman everywhere you go ! And we should'nt forget that we have plenty of the former in our own entourage ! On a personal level I would say that the best I have come accross are Armagh ! They're gracious in defeat and humble in victory and are a great crowd to mix with before and after the game ! Other counties supporters I'd have good things to say about are Down and Dublin ! I don't like singling out counties for having 'bad/arrogant' supporters as I'm conscious that the majority of them are deasant, but I must say that the Meath and some of the Kildare supporters have'nt impressed me the few times I've come accross them !
