WITH Donncha Cody hoping to emulate his father Brian's achievement in
1972 by winning an All-Ireland minor medal next Sunday, the question of
father and son medal-winners at this grade is given a topical focus.
A reader asked us some weeks ago to research this topic, and we have
been making enquiries since among the well-informed. So far, our
informants have come up with:
CORK - Der ('28), Frank ('61) and Der ('67) Cogan; Willie ('38 and '39),
Kevin ('64) and Brendan ('68) Cummins; Martin ('67) and Martin (2001)
