While I would have to say the Spillanes must be teh greates just on the back of all their medals, I feel teh donnellans of galway deserve a mention. john and Pat iniing all Irelands in teh 60's. micahel and john in the 90's and naughties (or was Joh non the panel in 2001?) class footballers and fierce nice men.

John was indeed on the panel in 2001 and fell off after that.

the donellans grandfather also won an all-ireland with galway,there three generations of the same family to win all-irelands.heard the same stories myself about them also.

The best family playing today has to be the O'Se's as we have no other brothers playing on the kerry panel today ...
As for the past - then i would, without a shadow of a doubt say the Spillanes - Outstanding!
