Final Crokes v Dingle
Relegated
Spa An Ghaeltacht Milltown/Castlemaine
Crokes with Pat O’Shea back will be in good shape and always do well in the League . Rathmore and Legion will do well . O’Rahillys might struggle. Laune Rangers might surprise few teams . Kilcummin Glenflesk Ballymac I think will do enough to survive .

Surprised people suggest Milltown Castlemaine. If I remember correctly people tipped them for relegation from intermediate too.

Kieran O’Leays experience is valuable in there McMahon was always a great prospect. There was no David Shaw Mike Burns Tom Doyle and Tony Brosnan in that forward line yesterday so very important to have O’Leary there this year Pat O’Shea will definitely bring the best out of them this year.

Results section of the website still a frustrating experience. Click on Results hoping to maybe get the weekend senior county league scores. All that comes up is 10 results from underage games. No option to get more than 10. Selected a senior county league division from the drop down list and clicked on results and get... more underage results.

Surely in this day and age that the county website could be up to date and include results and maybe a report.

An impressive performance and result by Laune Rangers in their return to Division 1 after a 10 year absence against Kerins O'Rahillys in Strand Road last Saturday evening It was a comfortable enough win in a match well refereed by Eoin Moriarty. Eoin Clifford was the stand out player on the pitch. Laune Rangers team Podge Ahern, Sean Cleary, Callum Moriarty, Oisin Daly, James Treacy, Patrick Carey, Ciarán O'Sullivan, Shane Daly, Stephen Sealey, Eoin Clifford, Fiachra Clifford, Rory O'Connor, Daire Cleary, Eoin O’Sullivan. Subs used: Oisín Birmingham, Evan Madden, Killian Spillane, Stephen Gannon, Cian O'Shea.

Crokes flying altogether. I fancy them to rattle county championship if they get the Aura back. Legion disappointing. Rathmore have a nice young side coming up again. Spa are inconsistent. Glenflesk will be disappointed not to get something from that game. Laune rangers on the up too.

Kieran looks like he has reconditioned himself another cracking goal at weekend I'd say he knows they are onto a winner with Pat O shea. McMahon is a serious operator and can see him using this year to develop into near county level footballer at senior level but has a bit to go yet.theres a Mark Fitzgerald corner back too very tight and one for future.

Crokes backs are young with the exception of Fionn Fitzgerald it’s been a rebuilding phase . Mark Fitzgerald Neil O’Shea Harry Potts Evan Looney Mark Cooper are promising players David Naughton had a great year last year . Veteran John Payne and young Sean Fitzgerald are subs . Mark O’Shea has been outstanding for Crokes the last few years unlucky not to get a look at county level. Mike Potts is back from injuries playing better than ever. Billy Courtney has a great start to the year . Hopefully Gavin O’Shea can stay healthy and Brian Looney still has the hunger and drive and you have Daithi Casey to come off the bench along with promising Alex Hennigan . Mike Burns of course will be a starter .
Mike Casey has been a solid player when called upon . Kieran O’Leary is looking as dangerous as ever and Cian McMahon gets better every year. If they stay healthy and get Charlie Keating Mikey Lynch Gavin White David Shaw Tom Doyle Tony Brosnan and Shane Murphy back you would expect them to win something this year . Bryan O’Shea Liam Randles Brendan Falvey Brendan Coppinger and Jack O’Sullivan will be squad players.

I don’t know if they’ll win the county championship. But I know one thing for sure . Pat O’Shea wouldn’t come back if he didn’t think they had a good chance of winning it.

Fionn Fitzgerald must have a good few years in him yet, what age is John Payne? He's been on the scene for a good while now it seems

Yes you have a few veterans. Kieran O’Leary John Payne Brian Looney would be 37 . Fionn Fitzgerald and Daithi Casey would be 34 . I think you need a few veterans. We’ve been getting one or two minors coming through every year. And we’ve a good minor team this year so you need that every 2 or 3 years.

Crokes look like they have been building a strong squad over the last couple of years, some in East Kerry had been tipping them to struggle and perhaps even go to intermediate
