Interesting to see some extended county panel members in club action Saturday evening. Darragh Roche helping Glenflesk to complete a 100% record of 11 wins in Division 3, a result which allowed Firies and Brosna pass out Ballydonoghue and set up that playoff for the 3rd promotion spot.
Dan O'Donoghue a notable name in the Spa line up v Stacks in Div 1. Draw taking place tonight for the Div 1 playoffs.
Good win for Desmonds in the final round clash of the 2 unbeaten teams in Div 2, the win leapfrogging them 1 point ahead of Kilcummin to take the title.
Fossa and St Michael's/Foilmore got the results they needed to seal the Division 4 and 5 honours.
The final round game in Div 5 for Ballylongford was due to be at home to Ballyduff, but i believe it was called off due to Ballyduff's involvement in the county SHC the same day.

Big win for Castleisland Desmonds - they seem to have improved massively this year. Have they a few good young lads coming through or has there been a change in management?

He really pulled them out of doldrums.

Waterville promoted to Div 4 after beating Sneem/Derrynane in a play-off replay. It was actually Sneem/Derrynane who won the promotion playoff on Saturday 1-7 to 0-9. The teams meet yet again this weekend in the South Kerry Championship.
