Some interesting subplots out there this year outside of div 1, how will Paul Galvin get on in Wexford,and Mike Quirkein laois?
Who in div 3 will secure a place in the AI proper and the opposite in div 2? For my money here is who i think will win promotion/get relegated in each division.
D1= winners Dublin rel= meath/monaghan D2=promotion = kildare/roscommon rel=westmeath/laois
D3= cork/Derry rel=leitrim/Offally D4= antrim/carlow

In view of the worsening winters we've been experiencing for the past number of years, it is surely time to rethink playing NFL in January & February?
Without getting into any political debate, it's clear that the winter weather has become increasingly harsh and dangerous of late. Already this year we've had multiple postponements/fixture changes including for 2 of Kerry's 3 away games to date. Matches been taking place around the country in abysmal conditions for players and supporters alike.
Last year was the same. Matches were called off all over the country; I think some Div 4 games didn't get played at all. Some of our home games were played in near-apocalyptic weather.
I'm aware that there's pressure on time-slots and you have the whole club/county debate all the time. However the NFL is the second most popular competition in the GAA and is gaining in appeal all the time. Is it fair to players or to supporters to have to be travelling/playing/watching in these conditions? Right now the crowds are good but I'm not sure this is sustainable in the kind of winters we've been getting lately.

Armagh had a comfortable win in Div 2 looks like they will get promoted. We could possibly have five northern teams in NFL Div1 next year if Cavan beat Rossies in the last round. Football is very competitive up here.

Guys, anyone knows that this www.forex-broker-rating.com/instaforex platform offers VIPs to big games? I've been trading for a couple of months and didn't know it has a lot of football club partners.

Mayo have produced the best half of football I have seen from a team since the 2009 all Ireland quarter final.
They will have a big say in the All Ireland this year. Weather conditions will suit their hard running game and if they can afford to keep Aidan O Shea and Cillian O Connor inside they will be a massive threat to all teams.

Galway were surprisingly poor today though. Comer missing was huge.

I would be amazed if Donegal don’t have a lot of sick players or injuries next weekend for a National league game. This is a competition that teams don’t have any interest in. Donegal will hold their fire power for following Sunday against Tyrone.

Mayo v Tyrone next Sunday should be interesting. If Monaghan beat Meath in Clones, the loser of this one will be relegated. Actually, Mayo would need to win, a draw will do Tyrone.

Mayo seem to have unearthed a couple of gems from the club scene. Mark Moran looks a classy player on the 40. The standout player for me though was Oisín Mullin. I always thought Jack McCaffrey would be the assignment from hell for an intercounty forward, but i wouldn't like to be following Mullin around for the afternoon. Got tired just watching the ground he was covering.

Great shooting in all games by all teams, maybe we appreciate 'em more - hunger is a great sauce!

Mayo were excellent, but my god galway were pathetic i know they hadn't as much to play for as mayo but the complete capitulation in their traditional fortress of Tuam. Shocking stuff they didnt look fit and the few injuries were costly they will be a different team in a few weeks though.

Galway looked uninterested and stood back a lot. They could have made it a lot harder for Mayo and made Mayo look a lot better than they were, and Mayo were already excellent yesterday. Galway can still win the league, but all the talk from Galway all year has been about Sam. Even the McGuinness episode was all about getting something extra, getting an extra edge. I don't think they are bothered as much as we are about the capitulation. Yes, it's embarrassing, but as long as they win Connacht this year and perhaps even win Sam nobody will remember the game.

Don't have Eir but used the Mobdro app on my tablet to watch Meath v Dublin on Sat evening. Worked well so will install on the Smart TV for this week's match.

Bad news for me in that case It’s on GaaGo Veteran. I’m a subscriber with a while as I live in the States, fantastic service. Almost all games were on the weekend including Dublin v Meath.

I don't think games that are live on TV in Ireland (rte, Eir or tg4) are not available on GAAGO in Ireland. You can watch them back after but not shown live. Well that was the story with the live TV games last weekend.

Buck, that is interesting about GAAgo allowing us to see a recording of a particular match. . So, if one avoids hearing the score you can tune in and view it “live” so to speak. Does that facility become available that evening and when should one go one go about paying their fiver? This is great news if it is the case.

Anyone setting up GAAgo for the first time should do it well in advance as it takes maybe 15 mins to settle in, it is working silently in the background so you may think it didn't click, I left it to last minute v Monaghan and missed the 1st quarter, but then it just appeared on the screen and my Hennessy bottle half empty, or half full, I can't remember!
Once you pay the fiver Vet you can watch it after, don't see how you could have to watch it live to avail of this. While the camera and commentary by Marty and Oisin was great, the absence of analysis leaves a vacuum, moreover as we are paying. Distancing shouldn't affect this as they have two mics anyway - is it that the OBU (Outside Broadcasting Unit) from RTE would require too many bodies? NK games broadcast were brilliant and in the absence of crowds, just like managers can shout directly to players as opposed to having runners, we can also hear everything, including what they are saying. BTW is there artificial noise also - making a lot of it for 30 laddos and a few managers?
Gosh the games mean so much more now and O'Rourke had nice words on Clare Byrne Mon night - he is happy with the safety of it, maybe if fellas are continually tested and marrying that with what our own Dr Eamonn Shanahan said on Radio Kerry, i.e. while individual tests may not be 100% in picking it up, 3-4 tests would be certain enough, bearing in mind I am not a medic so hopefully I'm not being too smart here. And if indeed it is that safe then it will get us through the next 6 weeks and 'twould be nice if we had the auld cannister to wash down the turkey as wan Paidí would be thinking! Ah jazus, I can smell the sprouts already!

You can only watch the replays of the matches that were available live on GaaGo in Ireland. The matches that were shown live on TV in Ireland show up as "unavailable in Ireland" on GaaGo.
