Nice couple of games in prospect on TG4 this evening in the senior grade semi finals.
Kilcar - with the likes of Mark McHugh, Stephen McBrearty and Micheál Hegarty in their ranks - take on Cill na Martra from Cork at 5.45.
Then the big West Kerry derby between Gaeltacht and Dingle at 7.30.
A rare chance to see an all-Kerry club clash on national TV.

Stephen McBrearty out injured for the final. Tomás Ó Sé to play the 1st half, Brian Ó Beaglaíoch for the 2nd due to county management restrictions.
Dara Ó Sé apparently can only play 1st half due to work commitments linked to the Trump visit to Shannon Airport!

Tomás off after 19 mins with the prospect of a re-entry near the end of the game.
Peter K might have forgotten to specify that the 30 minutes had be consecutive.

I only saw the last ten minutes of ordinary time plus extra time but during that period some of the fielding of Riobaird O'Se was breath taking. Two years ago I saw most of the games played by the Kerry juniors when Riobaird was consistently outstanding at midfield. The same year , as far as I can recall, Jack did not feature him on the u21 team. Since then, he has never been considered, apparently, by Eamon or Peter. What is the problem? It seems to be that he is superior to a lot of our current midfield pretenders. Perhaps he is not interested. I wish I knew. Does anybody else on here rate him?

Rob gave an exhibition of spectacular high fielding throughout the game, I think I counted about eight marks from kick outs and none of the soft variety. All contested. In a year when we have a lot of converted half backs and half forwards vying for the midfield spots in green and gold, he could be a contender.

A sensational score to win the tournament. The quality was fairly good despite the weather and the obvious heavy legs after a few games in such a short space of time. Shame about the poor weather. Agreed about Rob O Se at midfield, he was excellent. The comortais is a great weekend, Ive been to a few but couldnt make this one. Anyone who thinks its a giant piss up only needs to see the joy from the winning team. I think Gaeltacht have lost a few finals lately so it was nice to see them get over the line

Rob probably doesn't have the pace for intercounty. Very good in the air tonight but if you watched the recent final against Templenoe, An Ghaeltacht were well beaten in the middle of the field. Also I thought for the first 20 minutes tonight the 2 Donegal midfielders were well on top. Funny I actually thought Begley was the more eye catching of the midfielders in the 2nd half. I also hope that Begley and Tomas O Se don't get in trouble for playing the extra time.

Totally agree on Roibeard O'Sé at midfield. He was fantastic today. Whenever I have seen him play he has always impressed me. I would say he is a better fielder than any of the midfielders we have on the panel. Buck, I don't think he is too slow for intercounty. He looks well able to move to me. I have had him down as a possible contender to solve our midfield problems for a long time, and I couldn't understand how he has never even been on the panel. I hope Peter Keane brings him in for a look because a couple of months training with the county panel would really help bring him up to intercounty speed for a possible run in the league next year. Anyway it isn't like we're overflowing with midfield options. I'd certainly take Rob over Mark Griffin at midfield any day of the week.

Totally agree, its amazing that Roibeard doesn't get a run. I definitely witnessed some of the best fielding I've seen this year in Gallarus yesterday in what were testing conditions. The winning point must definitely get score of the year. I didn't fully appreciate it at the pitchside until I saw the video.

The fielding by Rob Sé was absolutely top drawer.

An absolute joke of a senior competion , the Gaeltacht straight thru to the semi finals where as a cork team had to play two games to get there , they made sure their semi final apponents played the night before they were due to play the Gaeltacht so to give them no time to recover , they got every decision in their both games , the shouldn't b celebrating their win as it was a fixed competion . In saying all that I thought eanna to was superb in both games and I still think he should b on the Kerry panel but from me it would b a definite no no for rob se
