The St Senans v St Pat's game was always very close. Senans were probably slightly the better team overall. Pat's lead for the most of the game mostly thanks to the boot of Willie Hurley from frees and Senans poor shooting especially in the first half.
When Senans got their noses on in front after scoring their goal Pat's struggled to get back on terms as they had nobody in a forward position. On one occasion I think it was Jordan Conway who made a burst forward and had literally nobody to assist.
Senans looked stronger and fitter as the game went on.
There was an ugly incident early in the game where the linesman (a Pat's representative) flagged for a line ball that was marginal. It was right in front of me and I couldn't say if it was over the line or not but a Senans sub confronted the linesman and they ended up in an un-romantic embrace. The upshot was the Senans fella being sent outside the fence for the duration. There were a few more colourful verbal.exchangea between onlookers and the St Pat's sideline.
Senans were lucky in the end to progress despite being the better team

great credit to senans and keel who went toe to toe with neither team willing to accept defeat.Keel led for a lot of the full time match before senans edged ahead in the closing stages. Gary sayers with a difficult free sent the match in to extra time. Senans had their best spell of the match in the first period of extra time going 5 or 6 points up ,but keel would not give up and bought it back to to a one point game but senans held out to prevail in the end.SENANS have confirmed their status as north kerrys top team which is a fair testament for a rural club . A concern for the final would be having to play five and hours ch ship football in a month as players picking up knocks have no recovery time

I'm not so sure. Senans have a midfield to go up against Barry and Diarmuid O Connor. Na Gaeil dont exactly have a prolific scorer so if Senans break even in midfield and turn this game into a dog-fight they could be a lot closer than people think. But Na Gaeil's recent heart-ache in Junior finals and semi finals and the bit of experience gained from those should see them over the line by 3 or 4 points.

I agree with buck02, this will be a tight game. Whoever wins the midfield battle will probably win the game, Jack Barry and Barry O'Mahony will most likely face off against each other, an interesting duel for Peter Keane to observe. The experience from previous final losses may see Na Gael over the line, playing division one football will also be beneficial. Na Gael to win. St. Senans are an up and coming team and the reigning NK champions will gather more silverware in the coming years. Hard to call the relegation playoff final, Lispole and skellig rangers are both without a win in the county league or P.J championship so both teams are lacking form,

Senans extremely lucky to get to extra time the last night. (Yes keel equalised) but keel should have been out the gate at that stage. Yes Barry Mahoney was outstanding. But a collective inability throughout the team to footpass will prove their downfall in stacks park. Also none of their forwards were willing to shoot when in the scoring area and don't seen to have a consistent free taker. They also took a few heavy knocks the last day especially Quille near the finish. Na gaeil will have the hurt and experience to get a win and will have plenty to spare.

Na Gaeil in my eyes would be clear favorites. They seem to have a lot of advantages over senans in my view. Having had the hurt and experience of previous years is a huge asset also having the two Kerry midfielders playing (although Jack Barry seems to be injured at the moment and didn’t even tog out for na gaeil Saturday evening) also playing division 1 football is a much higher standard which will only improve the team.
Although na gaeil are favorites they really are trying to make hard work of the championship this year. I have seen their last two games against ballymac and gneeviguille where they really struggled at stages in both games and found it very difficult to close out both games. They were very lucky Saturday evening in Castleisland to come away with the win as a huge call went there way in the final moments when the game was level. It was 1:7 to 10 points and the ball was played into the gneeviguille ff line and the gneeviguille forward won the ball out in front of Ryan O Neill the na gaeil corner back. Ryan o Neill then slipped and as he was falling clearly pulled the forward to the ground. The ball fell lose and the ref played on and na gaeil went up the field to kick a point from the boot of Dara Devine this was at a point where na gaeil we’re struggling to gain possession around the middle of the field and as a result there forwards were starved of possession. This score resulted in a 2 point turn around and Ryan O Neill escaping a black card and staying on the field. This attack broke the hearts of gneeviguille and essentially they began to die resulting in na gaeil tagging on another score to close out the game.
The battle of the weekend will definitely be Barry O Mahoney and Diarmuid O Connor. Na gaeil rely very heavily on O Connor and he has the ability to dictate the tempo of each game he plays and influences the players around him I seen him Saturday evening when the game was in the melting pot calming the players around him and demanded a kickout when they were defending their one point lead. From the kickout he won it cleanly ran through the defense and set up the game winning point which showed experience beyond his years. As I mentioned earlier he was without his partner Barry so had to do most of the work around the middle by himself but I believe there is no better man to stop or reduce his influence on the game than Mahoney who is also a brilliant modfielder and was his partner for the minors so he will know his game inside out and it truly promises to be an outstanding battle
My prediction for the weekend is senans struggling to score with the forwards they have and na gaeil to pick them off through their midfield and the dangerous runs Andrew Barry makes from center back. I also think na gaeils forwards will be far too good for senans backs
Na gaeil by 8 plus.

this was a game of the 2 barrys jack barry of nagaeil listed at17 who gave a man of the match performance at centre field and senans most influential player barry mahony who was out with a late injury. na gaeil threatned to run away with this game with 2 first half goals and 2 mmore spurned to go 6 points clear. coming up to half time senans boughtit back to 2 points and na gaeil down to 14 men but a goal on the stroke of half time put nagaeil 6 up.second half was all na gaeil with their centre field contributing 2 05 from play over the hour ably assisted by a barry at centre back .na gaeil were fitter ,much bigger panel and their previou final losses to drive them on
