I must admit I am as greedy as the next wo/man, but hey, hells bells, there waz wance a team in transition, managed by a fella who never managed a senior team, let alone a Kerry wan, and we were going to be verry quiet for a while, ah 'twould take years ... and quiet we were going to be .... and then ...
Over to my fellow forum forgetfuls.
Éamonn, ah we were slow with this one, Paidí said it was only 6" between a kick in the arse and a clap in the back, you got a few kicks, works both ways ... ta man!
P.S. How many managers won Sam at first attempt, and against all odds?

Well smart asses I didn't say 1st year, I said 1st attempt and which was with his first batch of players and his first stint, in contract to say Jacko who had a few goes, and others like Paidí and Dwyer who had multiple such engagements, albeit with other counties.
And if you both were so smart you would know he as ratified in Aug 2012, not 2013 as you state. Tomaisín man you no chip off the auld block, did you ever hear of the fatality of copying a class act, in this case a classes class act!
Pity neither of ye could offer him even a wee bita praise for his 100% effort in giving us such enjoyment and which no genuine Kerryman would deny him.

You're making less sense than usual and that's saying something. You made a mistake, it's OK. I make plenty.

What is the point of this thread. Did we not debate eamons legacy to death back in August where for the most part he received significant praise.

I read this forum most days and dont contribute as much as others and try not to personalise or criticise others but you post long winded nonsense non stop.

'long winded nonsense' is a matter of opinion, yours, I have received compliment from both forum and official GAA personnel down the years. I challenged two few nit pickers here and they collapse in a heap - I often wonder what Tómas takes with his cornflakes?

Ok, I reacted to a bit of recent negative publicity and felt protective of him so please forgive me. I sense his legacy will now be influenced by how well Peter & Co fare - while there are no guarantees, having Maurice and Donie behind a 5 in a row minor pipeline is a great place to be, even for Kerry, Did we ever have such prospects, did any county? - well apart from a senior team up in running? Ballythefireside quote of the day - Good men handle pressure, greats don't feel it.
