Whoever has the job of marking Ruairi Deane is likely to have their hands full.

Fake team. No way all those lads are on the bench if fit. Kerrigan?

Can't see that to be the team that starts the game for Cork. I expect 2/3 changes before throw-in,particularly in attack.

Fake news as that lad from clare would say! Serious hay to be made against that full back line.

This is a new Cork team and Cork fans I know have no idea what to expect on Sat no more than we do. It could be a facile win for Kerry. It could be anything. Will Cork get support from Cork people even? It being a home game on a Saturday one would hope they do and it's a good atmosphere. Surely the Cork public will come out for this game......................... the cork public have been out in reasonable numbers in the hurling championship to date and will probably sell out a munster hurling final in 2 weeks time or so, with guarantee of a another big hurling game post munster hurling final win lose or draw, so I suspect they will not be there in PUC in next Saturday. They have a few reasons or excuses whatever you want to call them That is cork, they have the hurling and a football team that has not been at the races. Kerry fans don't have this to contend with so no real reason or excuse not to be there in numbers I have revised my attendance prediction down to 19k. Hope I am wrong

Hard to see where the scores would come from if that is the cork team, id say just over 30k for this one there was 16 to watch clare i think for once we will outnumber cork in the pairc!

My terrace ticket was €25. I went stand 35e for this 20e for hurling, 15 for terrace for hurling aswell. Just think 35 is too much I don't know how much thought goes into ticket pricing. For the novelty I was going to check out the cricket while in Dublin a few weeks back and I was certainly dissuaded as a (very) casual fan by the price.

35 euro is a diehard price, 20 euro for the stand and 15 for the terrace might net more floating casual watchers.

Questioning my sanity - Go to the game with a couple of family members - 3 * 35 = 105 Add fuel and food = 100 Intangibles of parking and traffic = €€€ OR Stay at home and watch the game on TV (pause, rewind etc) with a bottle of wine and a pizza = 30
I still want to go to the game!!!!

What sort of wine and where will you get the pizza? A barolo or a malbec would be nice and there are loads of options for the pizza, if the sun really comes out as forecast could just fire up the bbq. Sounds great but the pull of being at the game is still strong making one forego such a relaxed afternoon and face into the melee of Pairc Ui Chaoimhe, lightening the pockets in the process.

Just got me thinking assuming they will keep the same price as last year for the super 8s 35e. So 35x3=105e ok they can justify the first day in croker as a double header. But 35 is again steep for what could be absolute hammerings in the other games and standalone fixtures aswell? For example if clare beat offally on sat and then louth in r3 and laois in r4 then kerry/cork would be playing them in ennis in super 8s for 35e???

I think they will surely have to drop the price compared to last year's quarter finals, especially given they were straight knock-out. Also I was thinking that they will surely have a reduced price deal to see all 3 matches (if they don't whoever is in charge of ticket prices/marketing needs to be shown the door) I wouldn't be surprised to see a deal to see all 3 of any county's Super 8 matches, stand tickets, available for €75. There was 5 games at the quarter-final stage last year (due to the Roscommon Galway replay). At the same stage this year there will be 12 games, with the 2 semi-finals and final to come.

Wouldnt be too sure! the world cup final is on the sunday 15th would imagine they wont have the dubs clashing with that so if we beat cork sunday 15th if not and we win the r4 qual. It would be sat 14th as part of a double header with the dubs?

Apparently against Tipp, Cork went long with their kickouts and they scrapped for every breaking ball.
I think this game largely hinges on our half back line blunting the effectiveness of Corks half forward line.
