Kildare struggled tactically against Carlow and if they haven't learnt lessons would do so again.
I'd fancy Ros to beat Kildare and Cork Kildare would be a great tie, as would Kildare Laois.

Some quote here, mother of god 'Kerry look like their tactical plan is something they will look to use if and when they face Dublin later in the summer.'

Ferm6 anagh v Kildare Laois v Monaghan Probably Kildare and Monaghan in our group So galway croke park, newbridge/brewster, and monaghan in killarney couldve been worse terrible draw for cork the dubs group is tougher. Donegal in croker then omagh probably, rossies in croker also

Same source:
Round 2 Super 8 fixtures on 21/22 July will now see in Group 1, Fermanagh/Kildare at home to Galway and Laois/Monaghan at home to Kerry.
Then in Group 2, it'll be Cork/Tyrone at home to Dublin, Roscommon/Armagh at home to Donegal.

Great shout bar maybe the final:
Prediction: Fermanagh, Monaghan, Tyrone & Roscommon to make up the places. All Ireland semi finals: Kerry v Donegal, Dublin v Monaghan. Final: Dublin v Kerry. Winner: Kerry.

Wishful thinking on my part makes the galway game even bigger wouldnt fancy having to go to clones needing to win!

Cork v Tyrone, a big shot at redemption there for the Rebels. I wonder where it will be played.

Looking at the draw and the expectant results and fixture line up the 'Super 8s' could turn out to be a damp squib. Especially in our group.
If Roscommon win their home game it would make the other group very interesting. Could come down to score difference.
Cork might give Tyrone a rattle.

If we lose our first game to Galway it would make the trip up to Monaghan a massive game. I think Eamonn will play the young lads in Croke Park and a lot of the older heads will get game time in Monaghan. Can't really see Laois taking Monahan.

Kerry potentially playing first ever championship game in Clones is something to really look forward to I think. We will be battle hardened after that.

It makes the Galway game huge. You wouldn’t want to be going to clones needing a win to stay in the championship if you lost to Galway in Croker..

Great call monaghan are a hardy bunch good full forward line but i think our squad would be too much for them id make 3/4 changes no matter how the galway game goes. Gutted im going to miss Kerrys first game in Clones in the championship

I was at the league game vs Monaghan this year. They are a serious outfit and will be very difficult to beat - no obvious weak link. We were well beaten on the day. It took us a full half to get to grips with their kickouts (lads clustered in the middle and then breaking to the wings just as the goalie is kicking it). Kerry have now adopted this as well...they say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery....

So 12 days until galway who do ye thing should mark their danger men ,walsh and comer ? For me it would be White on walsh for pace or murphy, either way i think he needs to be manmarked wherever he goes. ditto with comer crowley the obvious choice here hopefully we get a platfprm at midfield forcing comer out as he tends to get frustrated. id be away more nervous of him if he staus inside. Id probably go with the same team as the last day. Also if armstrong starts i hope whoever is on him realises he doesnt have the legs and bursts forward at every opportunity if its a hot day he could be done by h/t chasing a youngfella around croker

I know it's not certain yet but in reality it should be Monaghan we travel away too. I can not see the GAA fixing that for a Sat evening. Surely it's a Sunday that game will be played on.

Their games v Waterford and Leitrim were not too taxing. This is the third division 4 team to play Monaghan in a row.

I'm taking it that's its Saturday as Aidan O Mahony is doing the legends tour in Croke Park that day, they're usually the morning of the game. Sure you know yourself Sully the Sunday will be Dubs day.
Has anyone any idea of what day the Bank Holiday match would be played , need to get myself sorted for that one.

I didn't think it was going to be fixed until next weekend when all 8 teams are known. I'm trying to keep both days free each weekend of these games, just in case.
