Why do they have Div 1 finals and no finals in any of the other divisions?
Complete waste of time - the top team in the league should be the league winners.
If teams level on points have a play off at a neutral venue - otherwise top team should be the league winners.

Division 1 final is there probably in an attempt to keep the league interesting and competitive - not that long since there were semi finals. If top team is deemed winner and teams are safe from relegation there would be very little to play for in the latter rounds of the league. Remember most clubs are without players for many of the games due to the county set up - league is a difficult competition to maintain interest in at times.

Then it's not really a league then is it - its a competition where the top 2 teams play each other in the final
I think they are better off letting the winners win the league or else follow suit in the lower divisions - if Rahillys won the last day and they finished a number of points behind Crokes in the league standings - doesn't make much sense really

I'm fairly sure they were behind dublin on points Happened to general delight both in Kerry and beyond (happy to see Dubs beaten for a change). Suspect a Rahillys victory over Crokes would also have been well received by many beyond the Rahilly faithfull. Rugby also tend to have finals (and semi finals) in their league competitions - I have no idea why the GAA only have finals for Division 1 and trying to find logic in GAA thinking is a bit like expecting a fine week in Ireland just because the sun shines on a Monday morning.
