Its a pity that both games are on this evening. Two good games in prospect. Rumoured that David Clifford not starting as he picked up a knock in win over Cavan.

Both Games Definitely going ahead. . It's amazing how the minor championship can go ahead but if the seniors had won you wouldn't see them outside the door of the house let alone playing a club game.

Was at the Kierans game, was tight for a finish but east kerry by far the better team, as was to be expected. Most of the Kierans lads underage next year so they'll give it a rattle again. Hopefully they'll stick with Pa White as their manager, apparently he and a selector had a falling out the week before leading to that selector not being on the sideline for the final!

Game fixed for 4 o clock this Saturday in austin stacks park. A lot of Kerry minors on show and should be a good spectacle. Don’t think east Kerry are as good as they were last year however they are still a very strong team. Maybe if st Brendan’s rattle them early and find some way to minimize David Clifford’s supreme talent then they could have a chance

Why is the minor not being played as curtain raiser to the senior county final. Hurling minor played as curtain raiser to senior final.

Sort of a kick in the teeth to go from missing out on the final by a point to having to play a relegation curtain raiser before it.

Very strange game to put as the curtain raiser - another final would surely be more appropriate.

On the whole they underperform given their potential. I cannot see South Kerry troubling Crokes in the final - South Kerry stumbled over the line in the SF and even if they pull their wing forwards back and flood the defensive area I think Crokes movemement and the spread of scorers they have will see them win by 5 or more. Hoping for a good game but fearing an easy Crokes win.

Why not the intermediate final I wonder? Yes exactly. I don't see the attraction of a relegation play-off on the biggest day of the Kerry football calendar.

Real shame we won't get to see once in a life time county minor on senior county final day. I won't be able to make it to both venues. I'm sure other people are in the same boat due to other commitments etc.
