I would go for 3 of Castle, Crokes B, Skellig and Keel.
Duagh, Scartaglin, and Sneem/Derrynane to go.
I think Crokes will get promoted this year with 3 or 4 more big minors in addition to them. Potential to have a frightening team if there are a few weekends that don't clash with a division 1 fixture.

I think Firies for sure. Skellig and maybe Crokes B , Keel, and Lispole and Castlegregory to do well. Scartaglen and Sneem and Duagh maybe mid table. Beale , Tarbert, and Renard will struggle.

Crokes should be made play the same time as their "A" team , it would put a stop to players playing for both teams .

Renard V Castlegregory Close one Predict an away win here Castle doing well in West Kerry League Tarbert. V Fires Always tough to go up north Kerry fires will find it hard but think they will come through in the end Keel v Beale Another close game here and Keel should prevail at home Lispole v Skellig Rangers Another close game here hard to call may call a draw here Dr Crokes B v Scartaglin Predict a home win here for Crokes should have too much Duagh v Sneem/Derrynane Think Duagh at home should win this

Castlegregory Firies Keel Skellig Scartaglin Duagh
Crokes will have a seriously depleted side for the opening game and will be struggling to field a team. Scartaglin should have far too much for them.

Scartaglin should have far too much for them. Was talking to someone from Crokes and in between all the chat about Paddys day, they did say Vince Casey has been ringing around some "retirees" , so there's likely to be a couple of older hands in action to make up the numbers.

See Duagh giving a walkover to Skellig Rangers this weekend! Things must be going bad in Duagh!

Ballydonoghue lost again? Some thing must be wrong there. They seem to be a team that's coming down from division 3.

Poor state when Duagh had to give a walkover must not have been able to change the game. Crokes B benefiting from the fact the first team wasn't playing - beating Beale well. Castlegregory hammered Scartaglin away from home. CastleGregory will be looking to gain promotion and it looks like Scartaglin will go down. Tarbert came out the right side of a 1 point victory and making one of the longest trips for a football match possible. There back on track winning there last 2 county league games.

Good win for Crokes today in Renard. Keeps them in contention. Mike Casey David Shaw Billy Courtney Paul Clarke PJ Lawlor Bryan O'Shea and Chris Doncel did well for the Crokes.

Yeah fair play to the Crokes although a number of their Div 4 players also start for their Div 1 team.Bit of a farce really and when they introduce their 3rd team next year i imagine thyey will be the same cráp.

The following are the Dublin CCC rules where some clubs have up to 5 football league teams. (Na Fianna. Kilmacud Crokes, & St Brigids). At least 7 other clubs have 4 teams. Regulations such as the following should be introduced to avoid serious confusion.
38. Where a club has teams competing in more than one division or has more than one team in the same division a panel of twenty players for each team except the lowest grade must be submitted to the CCC before the team plays their second game in the league. That list shall contain the names of at least ten players who participated in their Club’s first game of the league which the list applies to. (Exception: The requirement to name ten players from the first league game does not apply to Minor teams). Where a team fails to submit a panel CCC shall consider the first twenty players to be used in a league to be that team’s panel. These panels shall be made available to a club on written request from a club Secretary. A player may only play for one team in the same League Division – Penalty; Team -Loss of match on objection, Player – 4 Weeks Suspension. CCC shall have the authority to allow a player on a list supplied to drop to a lower level if in the opinion of CCC that player is unable to resume at his original level due to an injury etc.
39. No player on such panel shall be eligible to play on another team in the same division or in a lower division. Penalty – Team – Loss of match to opponents on objection. Player – 4 weeks suspension. For the purposes of these Regulations any league which is played in two or more sections shall be considered to be the same league division.
40. A player may not play in any lower league division if he has played in more than three games in any higher league division(s) in the same season. Penalty – Team – Loss of match to opponents on objection. Player – 4 weeks suspension

All clubs stuggle for numbers at time during the season due to players being unavailable (Kerry duty), holidays and injuries. I suspect few if any of the named players would be on the Crokes Championship team - through one or two of the younger lads may break in as the year progresses.

If a guy starts and plays for the Divison 1 side on a Saturday eve, should he be eligible to play the following day in Div 4? Stacks always manage to field a team in Div 5 and there is little to no crossover in players

None of them were on the list the Crokes sent in so what's your point. Of course they are eligible.

I think the rule in Kerry is the club names 15 players at the start of the year and these players are ineligible to play in the lower division team or the Junior Championships. As for the Crokes team that played over the weekend, none of them played any part in Croke Park on March 17 except for Eoin Brosnan who had announced his retirement earlier but appears to be committing for another year.

I agree and think something should be done about it. Paul Clarke and David shaw were introduced in a club championship/County championship game this year. Then plays for the division 1 team and then plays division 4 which is totally wrong in my opinion.

When they dont know what kind of players they can bring!

Split the club in two! The population of Killarney! Limit their sponsorship! Change the competition rules! Sure how could we competition with them, look at their facilities!

Don’t see how its unfair on Renard if Crokes bring their strongest B Team, in fact its more unfair on the other teams playing in Division 4 if Crokes don’t bring their strongest team. Surely playing against better players is going to improve the team.
I assume the first 15 provided to the county board for the 2017 competitions was probably the All Ireland 15, that is the Crokes strongest 15 and would have been ratified by the county board. During the summer months all teams have crossover between their A and B due to several factors, ruling out B players from B competitions because of factors that maybe out of their control is not fair, what happens to these players when the tail end of the league comes and clubs have their full squad, do they not play B football?
