Hi All,
While the vast majority of members are fine and we have no issues with there has been a problem over the last few weeks with some posters. Some of it has been on threads and some of it has been via PM. People have been banned in the last few weeks.
Therefore we are going to going to police the forum in a more robust and different manner.
You will receive a warning. And if you repeat the offence you will be banned for 24 hours. Repeat offenders will have their bans extended and eventually barred altogether.
If anyone has any questions about the new arrangement please post them here or PM Control3 or Control5

Hi,
No problem with this. But while we're at it, can I make the point that some probationers' posts seem to remain unapproved for long periods on occasion. Which can disrupt the flow of conversation sometimes; a discussion can be over by the time it gets through. I'm pretty sure I've even seen this where subsequent posts by the same people, perhaps on other threads, have been allowed. Appreciate that this is all voluntary and mods are busy, but something to consider maybe?
Thanks

Send a pm. We get no notification to tell us a post is waiting approval.

Why am I still on probation? I have been a member of the forum for a long period of time and post occasionally

Why am I still on probation? I have been a member of the forum for a long period of time and post occasionally You need more than 25 posts to be off probation. It used be 10 but, some spammers were racking 10 posts up in mins. I have upgraded your account

I think Control should take a Donald Trump attitude to this forum.
Build a wall around the forum and deport any aliens, criminals or crazies to the Hogan Stand.
