Thought the ref was good overall but the amount of injury time was ridiculous. Criost Ri were very aggrieved and I can sympathise to a point. Great game of football - again! good game of football no doubht about that but I felt the ref was very lenient towards Chriost ri for the entire game. He did play a lot of added time definetly too much but it was only fair the green got a draw as the ref gave lots of poor decisions against them. Also very bad to see the ref assaulted after the game

Felt that Kerrigan and certain Chroist Ri supporters let their team down today. CBS Tralee players were pushed and shoved by Chroist Ri supporters while leaving the pitch after the game, some of which were 40 and 50 years old. Also Kerrigan pushing the linesman to the ground was disgraceful and sets an awful example for the rest of his team. Such carry on by 'adults' at a schools game must be punished.

Agree that certain parts of it didn't reflect well on criost ri. I don't think Kerrigan meant it - he was wrong to verbally protest so much to the linesman but he only pushed him away after accidentally physical contact by the linesman. Fully agree that a few Criost Ri supporters went over the top - that lad in the blue jacket was a complete fool - but most were aggrieved (rightly, in my opinion) but accepting. Thought the stewArds and Naomh Aban volunteers were superb. Draw was fair, regardless of how many logistical problems it poses!

Green owned the first half but after the penalty they disappeared and Christ Ri owned the second half. Ref used the rule book as a rough guide but was consistent to both sides. Green fortunate to get extra time and can count themselves lucky to get the draw but it was probably a fair rest despite how it came about. Their season continues ....

The replay is scheduled for Saturday February 18th, details TBC. - According to the Munster website.
The winners play again the following Saturday in the final and will have been out four weekends in a row as the raging favourites the Sem have been looking on.
Were some murmurings about Saturday being the start of mid term break and Chriost Ri missing players that are going skiing so it remains to be seen what happens. Time is against the organisers as the Hogan Cup schedule is looming.

If Criost Ri lose this then expect an unsavoury ending to the game- they got quite heated last week over the draw

1-4 0-6. Last 5 scores all Críost Rí. Why are all 3 games played in Cork venues? Also very poor form by them to be so heated at the end of the game. Attacking the referee and everything.

. Why are all 3 games played in Cork venues? Well the final is going to be in a Kerry venue anyway Talking to someone involved with the Sem and they said the final is likely to be the first time all year the Sem are able to line out with their strongest 15 (assuming no injuries between now and throw-in) which is a bit ominous given their winning margins to date. Will be interesting to see whether the 2 replays bring the Green on or whether they suffer from some fatigue. With only a week to the final I'd expect it to be the latter. Still an All-Kerry final is sure to be a good occasion.

I think 3 games will make Tralee a lot smarter. They know exactly know what they can't or can do. The Sem have mixed and matched a lot in their games so far and might have had it a bit too easy. I still think the Sem will win this, just because of their massive talent pool. With such young lads fatigue shouldn't matter as much. It will be a good final anyway with two very good teams. It is always hard to judge schools from the other provinces as we don't usually see all those games, but Sem are certainly favourites for the Hogan Cup as well. Game apparently on in Austin Stack Park.

Tralee CBS earn Corn Uí Mhuirí final place at third attempt
Sunday, February 19, 2017
Therese O’Callaghan Tralee CBS 1-10 Colaiste Chriost Ri 0-11: Tralee CBS are through to the Corn Uí Mhuirí final, their first appearance in the decider since 2008.
At the third time of asking, they came through another epic encounter with Coláiste Chríost Rí at Ballvourney on Saturday to set up a provincial showdown with fellow Kerry school and titleholders St Brendan’s Killarney next Saturday.
Tralee started full of intent, a goal in the fourth minute from Tralee CBS centre forward Tom Hoare catapulted them into an early lead. Along with points from Hoare and Michael Kelliher they were 1-2 to nil ahead after 12 minutes. They stretched the lead to six points with seven minutes to go to the break.
However, Coláiste Chríost Rí put themselves back into contention courtesy of Cillian Myers Murray’s who kicked two fine points. They were also let off the hook when the outstanding Michael Scanlon was off target with a goal shot just before the change of ends. The Kerry outfit led 1-4 to 0-3 after playing with the breeze to their backs. advertisement
Coláiste Chríost Rí restarted with the first three scores to come within a point. But, they were dealt a blow when Myers Murray was black-carded on 40 minutes, as the Green went on to record the next two points, 1-7 to 0-6 at the end of the third quarter.
Joe O’Connor had a big presence around the middle, and he posted two cracking points leaving the Kerry side 1-9 to 0-8 to the good with 10 minutes remaining. Ronan Dalton and Kelliher exchanged points, and when Dan Lucey split the posts, it was back to a three-point game.
In a hectic finish, Jack O’Brien cut the gap to two points, but subs Aaron Roche and Sean Quilter helped up the tempo again for Tralee CBS. They held on for victory. Now, they will hope to bridge a 10-year gap since last winning this prestigious trophy.

Munster GAA are streaming the final live on YouTube on Saturday.
Just go to youtube and type in Munster GAA.
They broadcast the Harty Cup final last week and the broadcast itself was of a very high standard in terms of the camerawork. If anyone wants to watch it, it's up there still and it got 15 thousand views.
Great to see games like these getting broadcast.

The Green looked very sharp today against a strong Roco side and will be disappointed not to win. They could be dark horses going into the later stages of this competition. Corner forward Eoin Greaney looked unstoppable at times today and David Fitzmaurice was also very efficient in midfield. Dark horses alright ! What a final this should be and I'm sticking with what I predicted early on... CBS The green to win Corn Ui Mhuiri against all odds.

The green will have to pull off a massive performance to beat this sem side. They have 11 kerry minors and it will take something extraordinary to beat them. However they have had no real contest so if the Green put it up to them you never know. I'm going for a sem victory by 5

I gave the Green no chance of getting this far, not to mind winning the competition, based on their loss to ISK in the O Sullivan Cup. They have built steadily and shown great resilliance to get this far and in a one off game anything is possible. The Sem would still be strong favourites and if they bring their "A" game should carry the day. Should be a great occasion and I hope both sides play to their potential and produce a cracker of a game. Well done to all involved - a great fixture from a Kerry perspective.

Can't see my old school losing this to be honest. If they play to their capabilities they should win by 5 or 6 points.

Decent game so far. The Green more than holding their own and a little unlucky to be 2 points down.
2 cracking points by David Shaw for the Sem. Kelliher for the Green causing lots of problems at the other end.
Thought the ref could have issued a card or 2 for persistent fouling by the Sem in that half. Billy Courtney lucky to have escaped a black for a cynical trip.
