I'm sure Curran's motives are entirely purist in nature and he's only dying for Kerry to entertain him with carefree football. Sure who could argue with that? Or could it possibly be the Dub media getting worried that teams are starting to slow down the juggernaut? Nah!

Bit harsh that from Paul, maybe just letting out the frustration from missing out on the Snr county job in 2013, and knowing that when Gavin goes it'll be an impossible act to follow!
In all seriousness though I'm not sure what the point of the piece is, it seems out of character for the man too. Strange one

I wouldn't read much into it. perhaps Darragh and, more recently Mike Quirk, writing stuff that could be seen as advice on using borderline legal tactics to counter teams like Dublin spurred this. using phrases like 'should be ashamed of themselves" is out of line alright and is exactly the type of insulting, holier than thou comment that makes people dislike Brolly and Spillane. Intresting Rashers that he was going for the Dublin job, didn't know that!

Best performance this year so far. Have to give credit where it's due. Donnacha and Mike Geaney also doing well. Tyrone are shocking though.

I would hope a few lads on here would eat a little humble pie? Eamon and a few of the players came in for a fair amount of flak in the run up to this Tyrone game.. I think they at least silenced a few critics today. We all have opinions on certain players and I guess sometimes it is easy to forget what is put on here can be seen by a far wider group that the few who regularly post!
Kerry in a league final despite a 'bad' league. Well done!

Good performance by Kerry. Good to get an extra game. Good test for the younger fellas next week. It would be nice to lay down a marker but hard to see the Dubs losing.

Well how did uncle Joe get on today? Obvious black card for Bernard Brogan ignored who duly scores a key goal, so the usual.

What happened Connolly that he was black carded so quick He's Connolly, so it's ok to do it, in fact it's ok to do anything to him, and after last year, and after DOS's article a couple of years back, he's also "a scamp" so anything goes. Sure Leeroy The Magnificent got a POTY on the back of, well, "on the back of Connolly". Literally. Incidentally, Connolly deserved a yellow for cynical play.

Ah now Rashers, Leeroy hasn't been to court for breaking a mans jaw or in front of the ccc commitee 3 times just to get off (how much was the barrister?). Its amazing how all the players in Ireland don't vote for Connolly otherwise he would have POTY, must be his likeable personality. Amazing how the GAA allow uncle joe ref any dubs games as there is a link with him and Dublin, worth a few black cards a game. Best of luck to Kerry, hope ye give it to them in the final.

Haha course you do seeing as Mayo cant! What is it with Mayo whinging about refs all the time.....the uproar over Reillys appointment last weekend was farcical. Mayo lost that game cos THEY WEREN'T GOOD ENOUGH!! And guess what? They still aren't.

Only caught the highlights of the Monaghan-Dublin game on League Sunday - McQuillan certainly made a balls up of the black card to Hughes in the first half. A trip has to be deliberate - how he could decide that the contact Hughes made with the Dublin player was deliberate I don't know. That incident and the awarding a yellow to the Monaghan number 11 for his foul on Fenton should be enough to prove that the black card is not fit for purpose. It needs to go but the committee that brought it in will ensure it doesn't go I think.

Reilly had a shocker that day and was demoted the next year to division 2 reffing as a result of that. Mayo have secured Division 1 football, which was their goal and have the same amount of points as yourselves. Its Donegals title this year in Ulster.

Irrespective of any referee decisions Mayo get (Fermanagh anyone?) Or don't get (every game according to your supporters) it is my opinion that you arent good enough. Btw I'm not from Monaghan so your petty attempt at winding me up falls on deaf ears.

Pete Mc Grath will be whinging again no doubt. Roll on the championship. Ye will be out of it in early July.
