Gneeveguilla, Currow, Ardfert to go up, Keel, Beale and Tarbert to go down. Keel struggling for numbers and Reidy will be a loss. Tarbert on the slide and I feel they'll struggle this year.

Who are the managers of the Div 3 clubs this year? Expecting Currow if there injury free to have a solid year plenty of talent in currow it's just a case of keeping lads off the Physio table.. Ballydonoghue a team I also expect to be there or there abouts provided their young lads make the step up to senior football it's in divisions like these that young players will learn a lot from and toughen them up so I'd expect Ballydonoghue to go to Div 2.. The third team il take a chance and go with Gneeveguilla a decent side with good players perhaps a lot of them coming to the end of there career but there's certainly some promising young players on the rise in the East Kerry club also.. Nothing would surprise me though if the likes of Ardfert or Brosna or maybe even St Pats to challenge.. But in this division you just never know Skellig who were close to going to division 1 2 years ago now find themselves in Div 4
My 3 teams to go down would be Dromid Beale and Tarbert

senans seem to be a team on the up promoted from div 5 and 4 last 3 years and wining first 2 co lge games in 3.Definitely won t be relagated and a mid table position would be a good opening for them.

Dromid Pearses 2-19 vs 2-12 Ardfert Football Club
Any allowances made for the fact that 3 key players from Ardfert were playing with Kerry hurlers yesterday?

Flying starts in division 3 for Annascaul, Currow, Keel and St. Senans with two wins from two. Could be an interesting and competitive division with a lot of these teams main focus for the year being promotion to division 2.

Dromid Pearses 2-19 vs 2-12 Ardfert Football Club Any allowances made for the fact that 3 key players from Ardfert were playing with Kerry hurlers yesterday? Seen Stephen Wallace got a goal for Ardfert so they must have been fairly slack

Saw keel vs Beale yesterday 1-15 to 2-5. They look like a fit team. Flying under Clive o Callaghan given the small panel they have. This division could go down to the very last round in terms of relegation/promotion

No teams on 6 points after the weekend! Annascaul lost to Gneeveguilla in a match that saw 3 black cards, 2 red cards and god knows how many yellows. Are refs handing out a lot of cards to lay down a marker for the rest of the season or what?!

Or maybe the cards are warranted. Lol if there was that many of them you'd have to assume it was more of a battle than a football match!

Oh the game certainly was a battle, could you expect less on a mucky April evening in Gneeveguilla! I thought the ref though was being a bit ready handed with his cards on the day and am wondering if others are seeing this trend, early in the season, from refs?

Tarbert beating Ballydonoghue must be one of the shock defeats of the season! Going on current form anyway

Ardfert beating Beale tonight relegated them and put them joint second with Annascaul & Pats with a game to play. Three more backgames left in this before the last Rd. If Senans beat Currow, it will put the cat among the pigeons......any predictions on the back games and who gets promoted and relegated with Beale & Tarbert? ? Gneevguilla vs Dromid Senans vs Currow Ardfert vs Brosna

Gneeveguilla, Currow, Ardfert to go up, Keel, Beale and Tarbert to go down. Keel struggling for numbers and Reidy will be a loss. Tarbert on the slide and I feel they'll struggle this year. I'm going to stick with my original three to go up here. Gneeveguilla have two home games left against Dromid and Ballydonoghue and I'd fancy them to win both of these. Currow face Senan's and Beale and a win over relegated Beale will guarantee promotion for them. Ardfert should have enough in the tank to get over the line as well. I got Beale and Tarbert correct but was wide of the mark with Keel. Very impressed with how Keel have performed given their slack numbers and new manager. They seem to be working hard for each other. Still have a chance of getting five out of six here.

That's pretty good judgement ciarrailar...fair play to you. However, I'm not sure Gneevguilla will go up....there's a bit more to play for yet and there is a possibility of Pats, Ardfert & Annascaul all finishing on 15 pts. Based on recent results, it's unlikely Senans will beat Currow this Sunday but they are fighting for their survival and at home they should put up a good fight. If they did pull it off, then it completely changes the way teams on 9/10 points approach their last game(s)...particularly Brosna who have Ardfert in the last back game sat week. The two games this weekend will tell us more.....
