Unacceptable behaviour, should be up before the judge for assault. I have said it here before. That sort of carry-on should be dealt with on Ashe St

Div 1 table makes interesting reading with plenty to play for in the final 2 rounds. One back game (Stacks V KOR) to be played 6th Aug (same day as Junior AI? and both have 1 midfielder on junior panel), and the current top two still to face each other means there are a lot of permutations at the top. Bottom two face off in last round which could end up saving one of them depending on other results, Mitchels have two tough (on paper) games to finish off with (Dingle and KOR).

Kenmare look doomed. O'Rahilly's and Legion left. Legion have Glenbeigh/Glencar and Kenmare left that will be a huge game. Mitchels and Kilcummin still in the mix. Crokes Templenoe Stacks Dingle Rahilly's could still make the final. Crokes have Templenoe next should be a cracker and finish with Milltown/Castlemaine. Templenoe have Crokes and Stacks tough run in. Dingle have Mitchels and Desmonds should win them. Stacks have Kilcummin and Templenoe. Rahilly's have Kenmare and Mitchels handy enough.
Crokes Team v Desmonds:
1 Shane Murphy 2 John Payne 3 Mike Moloney 4 Luke Quinn 5 Gavin White 6 Alan O'Sullivan 7 David O'Leary 8 Eoin Brosnan 9 Daithi Casey 10 Shane Doolan 11 Gavin O'Shea 12 Bryan O'Shea 13 Tony Brosnan 14 Kieran O'Leary 15 Chris Brady. Subs: Andrew Kennelly Jason Lyne Paul Clarke Cillian Fitzgerald PJ Lawlor Shane O'Neill.

The crucial game in terms of making a league final is the Stacks/Rahillys back game fixed for 6th Aug- winner here should be in the final vs Crokes.

This is a disgrace. The same player in question has been sent off twice previously this year and the rulebook should be thrown at his.....complete disrespect for the referee. He brings down his teammates and the club with him, if he does not get a lengthy ban then he club should impose a lengthy ban. An absolute disgrace, we should be talking about the football and the great performances of Glenbeigh + the likes this weekend but this player has tarnished all that. If that is correct then I think this guy is in a spot of bother. Then again everyone is different so depending on what kind of guy he is he mightnt take a blind bit of notice of it. The best way to deal with these guys is to put it on record somewhere in the county board for life so when their career is finished in 5 years & t hey want to teach young their own young fellow how to behave on a pitch they are told sorry buddy but you dont pass the code of ethics. Its like the guy that hit Paul Galvin with the hurley a few years ago - personally, I wouldnt let him inside the gate of a field again. You'd give any fellow a break but being sent off 3 times in a season is anger management stuff. In that case he should be banned from all GAA grounds. Parents are hot headed towards referees the best of times, can you imagine this fella in the sideline even as a "supporter"!

Outstanding performance by the Crokes today v Templenoe. 6- 28 is some scoring. When they play like this nobody in Kerry can live with them. When you think of players like Gooch Fionn Mikey Burns Mike Milner Shane Doolan Eoin Brosnan Chris Brady and Tony Brosnan were missing makes it better.
1 Shane Murphy
2 John Payne 3 Mike Moloney 4 Luke Quinn
5 Gavin White 6 Alan O'Sullivan 7 David O'Leary
8 Ambrose O'Donovan 9 PJ Lawlor
10 Gavin O'Shea 11 John Buckely 12 Brian Looney
13 Kieran O'Leary 14 Daithi Casey 15 Bryan O'Shea.
Subs: Andrew Kenelly Jason Lyne Cillian Fitzgerald Paul Clarke Shane O'Neill Mark Egan

Serious performance from Crokes.
Kenmare and Legion now both relegated to second tier for next season.

Serious performance by Crokes. It was the best and most professional performance I have seen outside of County Championship in a long long time. In Templenoes defence they were missing a lot of key players. Tadgh Morley, Patrick Clifford, Brian Crowley, Stephen O'Sullivan and Cian Hallisey were all missing, 5 of their best players without a doubt. It was eluded to the fact that Crokes were missing a lot, which is true, but the difference is Crokes can substitute these missing players with players of similar ability....Templenoe simply don't have the numbers to cope with these losses.
Johnny Buckley was outstanding and scored about 1-5 or 6. Kieran O'Leary is playing the best football of his career and scored 1-10 (2f) and had a hand in almost all the other goals. His exclusion from the Kerry camp seems to have seriously benefitted the Crokes. Killian Spillane was quiet by his own standards and well shackled by Gavin White. Adrian Spillane came in and out of the game but he was probably Templenoes best player and kicked 1-2 from midfield.

Great to see Johnny Buckley back...ud wonder tho what's the benefit of him playing a game??.It is because he's need of matches. If so can the same not be said for other panellists.

I'd imagine it was because he hasn't been fit enough to take part in the Kerry A v B games, whereas the other Kerry players have. Serious statement of intent by Johnny but I don't know if it will be enough to bring him into contention as a possible starter for the Dublin game.

I'd much rather we saw a few more lads out playing County League.Playing well in a competitive game in front of a crowd does far more for a fellows confidence and recovery than any A v B game.

A lot of people on here had Glenbeigh as favourites to make the drop but yet again after a poor start they have retained their Div 1 status, beating Crokes & Legion on the way.

Were Templenoe wearing their under 14s kit? I've seen the fashion where GAA teams tend to wear tight jerseys in order to look intimidating (started by Armagh back in the day)- but their tops and shorts just look about 2 sizes too small

Well thats a relief, thanks for clearing that up- they'll need to get bigger jerseys so.

Crokes play Stacks in the club championship at 5:30 in Fitzgerald Stadium this Satuday. Should be a good game.

They seem to be quite happy with the kit but I will pass on your concerns. Their movement appeared to be unaffected so there probably is no need to change considering the cost of jerseys these days.

Conclusion- nameless keyboard warriors and part time comedians have too much time on their hands and clog up reasoned debate with nonsense. Too much dribble to sift through to get to the good stuff - Do you feel my pain?

You also get a lot of passive aggressive people trying to make self righteous points without noticing the irony of their, or this, statement. It's a bloody minefield, I tells ya. What it could do with is selfless people to sift through the comments and advise them as to what they can and can't say and as to the need to maintain a severe tone to all comments- don't you agree?
