Is Saturday already sold out? that was the story doing the rounds and gaatickets.ie has none on sale. Great to see the juniors getting to play in Croker but getting to see them may be the problem if sold out.

It seems so , not available online in any case. I assume Kerry County Board will have some but not sure as I'm based up here. Best of luck in the hunt, luckily for me I'm a steward so will definitely be there.

Will be interesting to see if there are any of the Mayo lads who played in the final last year still there this year. Don't think Mayo have named a team yet, but had a look at the team they played against Wexford in the semi-final this year and compared it to the team that played in the final last year. The squad that was named for the Wexford game was 1. Mattie Flanagan (Balla) 2. Eddie Doran (Achill) 3. Niall Freeman (Aghamore) 4. Eoin O’Donoghue (Belmullet) 5. Barry Duffy (Balla) 6. James Kelly (Belmullet) 7. Jason Forkan (Kiltimagh) 8. Peter Collins (Islandeady) 9. Gary Keane (Westport) 10. Brian Reape (Moy Davitts) 11. Michael Forde (Ballycastle) 12. Kevin Gibbons (Louisburgh) 13. Darren Coen (Hollymount/Carramore) 14. Andrew Farrell (Killala, Captain) 15. Ronan Mallee (Kiltimagh) 16. Keith Hennelly (The Neale) 17. Cormac Reape (Knockmore) 18. Barry Leonard (Lahardane) 19. Michael Togher (Belmullet) 20. Robert Holian (The Neale) 21. Sean Gaughan (Belmullet) 22. Conor Keane (Hollymount/Carramore) 23. Adam Gallagher (Mayo Gaels) 24. Ronan Doherty (Ardnaree Sarsfield) Only 3 who started the final against Kerry started the Wexford game. 4. Eoin O’Donoghue (Belmullet) 8. Peter Collins (Islandeady) 15. Ronan Mallee (Kiltimagh) The following 2 came on as subs against Kerry in the final and started against Wexford in the semi-final. 11. Michael Forde (Ballycastle) 14. Andrew Farrell (Killala, Captain) The following were named in the panel for the Wexford game and were subs in the Kerry game 18. Barry Leonard (Lahardane) 19. Michael Togher (Belmullet) 21. Sean Gaughan (Belmullet) So while they have a fair few lads back from last year, it's not an identical side either. There were a couple of names/surnames that look familiar from underage Mayo teams and/or look like lads who have brothers/cousins around the senior squad so I'm sure they'll be a tidy enough outfit. Their results in the competition so far are Mayo 2-8 Sligo 2-5 Mayo 1-11 Galway 0-12 Mayo 2-10 Wexford 0-10 Best of luck to the lads - to win this back-to-back would be some achievement.

Great achievement to do back to back with a complete personnel change. A young team as well so we could see a few in the Seniors next year.

I think he'd have to cut his cloth somewhere else in order to even be considered He'll probably be on the radar of the likes of Waterford & Carlow but if Kerry win another Junior All Ireland he should stay to win 3 in a row. He has already won three All Irelands as manager within 18 months! Congrats to all involved. Serious achievement today

Great achievement to do back to back with a complete personnel change. A young team as well so we could see a few in the Seniors next year. Coupled with members of last years junior team, there are a number of individuals who could seamlessly join up with the senior team, congratulations to a fine display and this with a completely new team, what an achievement.

Fantastic result..Credit to Mayo for the mini revival..Had radio Kerry to thank for the commentary..It seemed like everything Kerry did in the first half turned to gold..The lads were certainly more then impressed. .I lost count how many times Ambrose said we were playing good football..It certainly seems like a couple of the players are of senior standard going by the commentary.

Fantastic win and well done to all involved, The long drive each way was more than worth it junior for the Junior game alone. Kerry football seems to be going from strength to strength. Will expect some player from this years panel to make the transition up to the senior set up in the next few years

Jason Foley Andrew Barry and Brian O'Seanachain for sure are three I think will. Adrian Spillane is a guy they could look at in the League next year maybe. Rob Wharton too maybe in the future.

Some seriously talented players coming through in the next 5 years. The 20's can be similar to the 00's as far as the Kerry senior team is concerned.

As far as I can recall, Kerry played a junior final as a curtain raiser to the fourth game in the 1991 saga between Dublin and Meath. I think they won too.

Stephen Wallace has stepped down as Junior manager. Fantastic achievement to win 2 years in a row with 2 completely different teams.

Well done to the Juniors - first time Kerry have done a double in this grade. Successive titles are rare at Junior with only Cork (1989&1990) and London (1969/70/71) having won sucessive titles in the competition which has been running since 1912 (not played in 11 years). Kerry and Cork lead the role of honour with 17 titles each followed by London and Dublin with six each.

Also anyone know what the story is with there being no Ulster championship?
