Being a neutral at the game I'll give a slightly different view. The goal was scored in the 64th minute. Most of the added time as due to Mikey Geaney knocking two footballs from Stacks players hands on a sideline ball and kicking them over the car park onto the road.
As for the ref Padraig O'Sullivan, he could hardly be accused of favouring Stacks, issuing two Black and two Red Cards to them. Don't know whether the ball crossed the line. Stacks had two attempts at it, both blocked and second one hit the ground and then the post. I looked at both umpires and they gave it almost immediately. There was another 3-4 minutes of pushing and arguing before the ref got in there to talk to the umpires and the umpires retrieved the Green Flag that the aforementioned Mikey had thrown away.
Dingle lost because they kicked at least 8 or 9 second half wides when Stacks were on the ropes.

Castleisland Mart Senior Club Championship Semi Final Dr Crokes 0-12 Legion 0-5
Dr Crokes advanced to their 5th Club Championship final in a row when getting the better of town rivals Legion at a well appointed Rathmore this evening. This was a tough uncompromising game all through but the black and amber’s greater scoring ability was the main difference between the sides. Legion matched their opponents in almost other facets through out the game and were especially tight in defence but the lack of penetration up front was to cost them dearly.
Colm Cooper and Daithí casey had early points for wind assisted Dr Crokes and Cooper again after 13 minutes made it 3 points to no score, however, by that time Dr Crokes had also kicked 5 wides. Legion’s first shot at goaldid not come until the 13th minute and David O’Sullivan got them off the mark finally in the 19th minute. Colm Cooper and Jonathan Lyne, with a good point from the wing exchanged scores but Crokes finished the half with Kieran O’Leary and Tony Brosnan pointing either side of a Jamie O’Sullivan free for Legion. At the break it was 6 points to 3 but Legion had improved as the game wore on frustrating Crokes with some first time tackling.
When Jamie O’Sullivan and David O’Sullivan (free) narrowed the gap to a single score within two minutes of the restart, we all thought that we were in for a humdinger of a second half but Legion flattered only to deceive on the scoring front and it was a full 25 minutes before they raised their next white flag. Crokes introduced Ambrose O’Donovan and Jordan Kiely and Kiely especially made a difference. Tony Brosnan and Kiely had Crokes 8 to 5 ahead by the 39th minute and two minutes later two ex Kilcummin players were in the limelight when Jamie O’Sullivan brought the best out of Shane Murphy in the Dr Crokes goal to deny the Legion an equalising score. Recovering from this letoff Colm Cooper and Jordan Kiely added to the Crokes tally to put them 10 to 5 ahead at the three quarter stage. Kieran O’Leary added to their tally before Conor Keane pointed two late frees for Legion but Colm Cooper had the last say when he curled a beautiful free from the wing over the bar to close the scoring.
Scorers: Dr Crokes: Colm Cooper 0-5 (3fr), Tony Brosnan, Kieran O’Leary and Jordan Kiely 0-2 each, Daithí Casey 0-1 (Fr), Legion: Conor Keane (2fr), David O’Sullivan (1fr) and Jamie O’Sullivan (1fr) 0-2 each, Jonathan Lyne 0-1.
Austin Stacks 1-9 Dingle 0-11 A goal in the 6th minute of added time saw Austin Stacks come back from the dead to defeat defending champions Dinge with a controversial winner in the second semi final of the Castleisland Mart Senior Club Championship in Annascaul on Saturday evening. Both sides started without county players with Paul Geaney absent for Dingle and Kieran Donaghy on the bench for Stacks.
Stacks had got the perfect start going 4 points clear inside the opening 14 minutes courtesy of the Mangans, Fiachna and Brian, David Mannix and Wayne Guthrie but they also lost Greg Horan to an early injury. The Geaneys Conor and Mikey led the Dingle comeback with two points, their first score coming in the 19th minute, and Conor Geaney and Matthew Flaherty tied the game up. Shane Carroll for Stacks and Mikey Geaney swapped points and Shane O’Callaghan gave Stacks a slender one point lead at the break, 6 points to 5.
Mikey Geaney levelled it up soon after the restart and Jack O’Shea and Breándan Kelleher swapped points as did Kelleher and David Mannix to leave the sides tied on 8 points apiece at the three quarter stage. Two good points from Kelleher again and Conor Geaney put Dingle two clear and when Pa McCarthy and that man Kelleher once more swapped points there was still two points between the sides. And five minutes of normal time left. There was no further score until that last ditch effort from Shane O’Callaghan denied the West Kerry side and sent Austin Stacks through to a final meeting with old rivals Dr Crokes.
Scorers: Austin Stacks: Shane O’Callaghan 1-1, David Mannix 0-2, Fiachna Mangan, Brian Mangan, Wayne Guthrie and Shane Carroll 0-1 each. Dingle: Breandán Kelleher 0-4, Conor Geaney and Mikey Geaney 0-3 each, Matthew Flaherty 0-1.

Yeah I heard from a neutral observer that Mike Geaney was, at best, setting out to be antagonistic throughout

I didn't say the ref favoured stacks for the whole game but the umpires basically shat the course for the main decision. If u were at the game u would know that the umpires didn't actually give the goal until Donaghy interfered. Another poster said he heard from a neutral that mikes geaney set out to b antagonistic thruout the whole game . If this neutral fan actually watched the game he might have seen that mikey was getting kneed and thumped into the back non stop . The fact that some of the stack players admitted the ball didn't cross the line is proof enough dingle were cheated out of the game .

I have zero affiliation to either club and if you look at my posts then you will see that I am defo not a stacks man- but I would question these discussions that you had with stacks players! Did you guys have an open forum after? Also they surely couldn't call whether it was a goal unless they were exactly standing on the line. I think saying the ref and umpires shat it under pressure from Donaghy is a bit much as why would they care? I say the same thing regularly so don't take it personally- but sometimes teams just lose and there is no conspiracy. The blood gets up and theories get thrown about but rarely are correct. The two people in the best position to give the goal called it immediately, according to another poster, so that's the opinion that matters.

The way I heard it described was Dingle were ahead and tried to run down the clock - Stacks got a goal and all hell broke loose. Interesting to see how the disciplinary committee deal with it... interfering with match officials (whatever the reason) is a serious breach as Mr Galvin found out in the past (amongst others).

It will b interesting to see how the kerryman gloss over the disgraceful ending of the stacks v dingle game "a controversial winner............last ditch goal from Shane Callaghan after a goal mouth scramble....". Now that was probably just sent in my the PRO but off topic, the GAA reporting in the Kerryman is gone to pot.

The problem I have with it is it wasn't called straight away , dingle had the ball up around the 45 when it was called . I'm not arguing with you and I know you're neutral but my honest opinion is the umpires shat it under pressure . I for one can't say whether it did or didn't cross the line so I'm just taking the word of a few stacks and dingle players who were close to the incident . Anyways it's over now so hopefully dingle can pick themselves up for the rathmore game .

Castleisland Mart Club Championship Final Austin Stacks 2-12 Dr Crokes 1-14
Austin Stacks are the Castleisland Mart Senior Club Championship champions for the first time since 2003 following a one point victory over their old rival Dr Crokes at Fitzgerald Stadium this afternoon. It was a deserved victory for the Tralee side who, despite playing second fiddle in the first half to a Dr Crokes side who had been reduced to 14 men at the end of the first quarter, recovered well in the second half to make that extra man pay dividends. The1,040 paying customers certainly got their money’s worth after a fine contest played at championship pace throughout. Johnny Buckley and Shane Guthrie swapped early points and Jack Morgan was unlucky for Stacks when his shot hit the crossbar - all inside the opening three minutes. Ambrose O’Donovan pointed for Crokes but then David Mannix lofted a high ball into the Dr Crokes danger area and Shane O’Callaghan palmed the dropping ball over the head of a stranded Shane Murphy to give Stacks the lead in the 11th minute. Kieran O’Leary should have goaled at the other end but had to settle for a point and Colm Cooper landed a free after Ronan Shanahan was black carded for Stacks. Then came the decisive moment of the match in the 14th minute when after a fracas in front of the stand, Referee Brendan Griffin flashed a red card to Ambrose O’Donovan and Crokes were down to 14 men. The Killarney side made little of that setback however as they took control of the game hitting four points without reply, including two from the rampant Kieran O’Leary, to lead by 0-8 to 1-1 after 25 minutes. Stacks moved Kieran Donaghy to centre field where he had started and he brought about an immediate improvement kicking two good points either side of a David Mannix free and despite being outplayed in the possession stakes for long periods, Stacks were just a point behind at the break; 0-8 to 1-4. Michael O’Donnell levelled it up soon after the resumption and then Shane Murphy (’45) and Kieran Donaghy swapped points before the impressive Gavin White pointed Crokes in front and then the Killarney side got the boost of a goal. A slick passing movement saw Gavin O’Shea with the finishing touch palming to the net in the 35th minute and Crokes were four clear. Daniel Bohan and Shane Murphy from a free, swapped points before a good attacking move by the Stacks saw Fearghal MacNamara fire low past Shane Murphy to cut the deficit to a point. Daithí Casey doubled that lead in the 40th minute (1-12 to 2-7) but amazingly Dr Crokes were not to score again for another 15 minutes as Stacks, growing in confidence, attacked at every opportunity. David Mannix with pointed frees either side of a good score from play, gave Stacks the lead by the 53rd minute and Pa McCarthy doubled the lead soon after. Johnny Buckley pulled a point back for Crokes with five minutes to go and Shane Murphy was wide from a “45” before Daniel Bohan, who had a fine second half, restored Stack’s two point lead in the 58th minute. Dr Crokes did have chances, not alone to level the game but to win it and the best of those chances fell to PJ Lalor but Darragh O’Brien pulled off a fine save with his legs to deny the sub. Jamie Doolan left the minimum between the sides but Stacks held out to claim a famous victory. Scorers: Austin Stacks: David Mannix 0-4 (3 fr), Shane O’Callaghan and Fearghal MacNamara 1-0 each, Kieran Donaghy 0-3, Daniel Bohan 0-2, Michael O’Donnell, Pa McCarthy, Shane Guthrie, 0-1 each. Dr Crokes: Gavin O’Shea 1-0, Kieran O’Leary 0-3, Colm Cooper (1 fr), Daithí Casey and Johnny Buckley 0-2 each, Jamie Doolan, Ambrose O’Donovan and Gavin White 0-1 each.

Stacks deserved it. Crokes were the better team in the first half but poor shooting. Didn't take their chances. Stacks played better in the second half. Both sides have issues. Crokes back line need to play a lot better. They played very loose yesterday. Stacks were very slow to get going. Didn't really get going until the second half. Crokes forwards had the better of the Stacks backs but wasted a lot of possession. O'Rahilly's will beat them if they play like this. Same with Stacks. Kenmare have the forwards to make them pay.
