Munster football not getting much of a look in there. Only the M/F being shown.

Munster hurling certainly is mind you, where 5 of the 6 protagonists have ambitions to be at the Big Show on the first weekend in September. The talk normally is that the Ulster FC is a dogfight, well check out the MHC this year, all bar your good selves in the mix. And that's not said to insult Kerry hurlers, who are doing their bit by improving incrementally.

Scrap the provincial system then the early rounds of the championship might be something worth looking forward to, certainly from our perspective anyway.
In a way I don't mind losing the odd Munster final to Cork, at least we get to see a bit of the country anyway, a damning indictment of how facile the Munster championship is.

We have to be realistic that scrapping the provincial championships is never going to happen, levelling off the numbers equally as they can is something a little more likely to happen

TV3/Setanta might be showing earlier rounds ?
Now there's an incentive to attend the games, if one was needed.

Still wondering if there's a way to edit him out of the Mayo games.
He came out with a few gems, all the same...
"in every collision there's physical contact"
and
"we see it there, Marty, I just don't see it"

I wonder has anyone sat Tom Carr down and explained to him how the black card works. Is there no one out there in football to do what Michael Duignan does for live hurling commentaries

Michael Duigan was a duel intercounty player, no doubt he could also do an excellent job of reading and commentating on the football games also.
