With the performance or lack of it by some of the divisional team's maybe it's their participation that should be in question and not the club's who at the very least play with a bit of pride in the jersey

I think people are over reacting to St Brendan's

I think people are over reacting to St Brendan's You feel players are more interested in playing for their clubs and possibly winning All-Ireland Junior or Intermediate title. With Ardfert and Brosna, winning titles every club in the county will feel they have a shot, priorities have changed. I can only speak, from the St Brendan's side of things, I don't know what the mood is elsewhere, but Id imagine it's not too dissimilar. In other news, David Moran, picked up a knock to his shoulder against Rathmore and is due a scan today.

No one was calling for Shannon Rangers to be cut when they were in last years semi final? I agree regarding Feale Rangers, seem to be very poor the last few years

We know that the divisional teams will stay in the competition no matter how poorly they perform just saying seems unfair on t he club team's who give there all when you see the effort put in by some divisional team's not all,put these same player's with there clubs and they would give there all to win a junior or intermediate but when they play with the divisional team as a unit that same drive doesn't seem to be there

Is there any truth that the Mid Kerry game has been brought forward to Wednesday night to accommodate the West Kerry lads going to Donegal for the Irish Competition? Surely it could be put back as there is another game to be played in an earlier round and not force players to compete mid week, 3 days after just playing? Even if the game is on Friday they have to be in Donegal for a game at 12.45 Saturday! Completely unfair on the players

Winning intermediate All-Ireland, and B. Regaining senior status. No doubt it's better for the divisions, but the benefits are marginal. Kerry county board will have to start taking club football more serious (as opposed to concentrating efforts on intercounty)if they want club players (more specifically divisional players) to take the county championship more serious.

Yes West Kerry have informed the County Board that ,due to the unavailability of Gaeltacht players who are playing in the Comortas, they will not be in a position to play Mid Kerry Friday night.

No thought given to player welfare, not to mind the great tradition of the Comórtas which the County Board bizarrely seem to have no respect for at all given the way they have scheduled County Championship games involving gaeltacht areas this and last year.

The same could be said lad's for ardfert last week who to the best of my knowledge lined out without there hurlers, im sure them north kerry team's are in the same boat this weekend with the Christy ring cup ,not sure what the answer is but it doesn't seem fair on mid kerry either to be left waiting for the ccc to see where there at.

Will the hurlers that played for ardfert and the other county championship team's that lost last weekend also be expected to play hurling and the football this weekend that doesn't seem to fair either, can they not claim that their player's are being put in an unfair position also

Most of the stories I've ever heard about it revolve around the consumption of porter with teams made of lads who havent used a word of Gaeilge since the last time they were forced to do their homework.

Most sporting competitions are based on a social element- if they werent then we'd never have B teams or many teams at all to be honest as most teams outside those with a chance of winning the top honours wouldnt bother to play. I know little or nothing of the Comortas but I'd imagine that the county board would have known it was in the calender and should have made allowances for it- as Annascaul said it has been around for 50 years so in effect they have had 50 years notice!
