how high up the divisions are b teams allowed go. if crokes kept going up to division 1... what happens then? did kerin o rahillys b team reach div 2 in the 90s or early 00s? it surprises me that more div 1 teams dont enter teams in county leagues, especially those that put out minor teams every year. where do these players end up if they dont progress onto senior teams, playing soccer perhaps? when first team reaches major finals they can have up to 30 players togged out and players no 20 plus have played very little football.

What player's will crokes b have available to them in other words can they drop down player's from the first team division 4 is hard tough football which may not suit some of there younger player's

Just hope they stick to playing the A and B teams at the same time.. Which they didn't last year Good few A's played with B's last year A good few As played with them last year? Would not necessarily agree with that. At the start of the year every club submits a first 15 to the county board and these players are ineligible to play for their b or junior team unless they get re graded before the deadline. Chris Brady, Shane Doolan, Luke Quinn etc were some of the players I feel you may be referring to. However the reality is that these players were not named in the crokes 15 submitted to the county board and therefore they have every right to play for them as a result. If a player plays for his senior side he is no longer eligible to play for the second string in the same game week. Crokes will struggle for promotion due to their kerry contingent being absent for a large part of the county league season which will ultimately affect the b team.

Buddy Leary, Shane Doolan, Jamie Doolan, Tony Brosnan and Andrew Kennelly were the more senior players.

Ill go for Ballydonoghue, Cordal, Firies, Dromid, Churchill and Castlegregory.
Crokes will struggle with the Kerry players unavailable which will see them deprived of their scoring forwards.

Will cordal be without philip also which would even things out. Slight nod to crokes if Philip missing.

Will cordal be without philip also which would even things out. Slight nod to crokes if Philip missing. Philip o Connor named 23 the weekend vs Monaghan so unlikely he will feature for Cordal in county league. Crokes seniors have a fixture the same time versus Waterville in division 1 so they will be considerably weakened for div 4 fixture. Cordal for me with very little to spare.

Castle have made a good start to this division, you could see them winning out this division now with ease

As regards b teams, some of the senior clubs in Dublin have several teams in the leagues, some have 5 or 6! One club had two teams in division 2 last year and others have 2 teams in lower divisions.
