Sticking with actual "plays" rather than performances. In ASC order, my choices
1)Paul Geaney's extra time point v Mayo 2) Kieran O'Leary's point v Mayo 3) Peter Crowley's block in final. 3) King Johnny Buck's point in final 4) Paul Murphy point in final 5) Star's first catch in first Mayo game, he pulled it down with such conviction, to announce 'I'm back baby'. Going into a white hot game with no championship football worth the talking under his belt. It set platform for his goal catch. 6) Hamez penalties v Mayo. Serious bottle. 7) Jon Lyne's points in extra time v Mayo. 8) Bryan Sheehan's free in final straight off bench. Awesome. 9) Paul Geaney goal in final 10) Star's catch for JOD goal v Mayo 11) Star's goal in final 12) Bryan Sheehan free v Cork. Incredible, and technically better than AI final free, but no pressure here and prize already won. 13) David Moran's two points v Mayo in first game. 14) JOD's goals v Tyrone 15) Donnacha's point v Galway with left from static position.
Missing some no doubt and the order will spark some fair debate, but they'll do for openers.
Remember the intention is not individual performances, but again 'plays', hence why Dec, Aidan don't feature.

Good thread and good choices. Add in... Dec Sull's play to set up Lyne's final point in the replay. Took a serious hit from AOS and didn't even wobble. Marc's point near lifted the roof off. Moran's catch in our own box near the end. Griffin's hit on AOS AOS's catch over Crowley for the 2nd Mayo goal. Had the word "yoink" written all over it.

I was thinking similar today whilst listening to Radio Kerry, which made for a great evening!
Glad you mention Brian's fee v Cork, it came at a very important moment in the game.
For me the magic moment was JOD's goal v Mayo in drawn game. I know it still needed KOL to score the equalizer but in truth we needed a goal at that stage. It mark a sign of serious character to come back, plus impact off the bench, and also the fact that it was almost a blast from the past Star to Gooch except it was Star to JOD this time.
All great moments but that's my favourite because I still remember it so well and the relief.

Agree seamo, it was like the people from Kerry in that stadium and all over the world were saying give him one good ball and we might get out of this one. Moran kicked a sweet ball with bells on and the two lads did what our county expected of them. Pure magic, in that moment I said we are Kerry,, like all Kerry folk I grew ten feet tall, again.

I thought Peter Crowley's block, under the Cusack stand, against Donegal is worthy of inclusion. Inspirational stuff. Likewise his last gasp clearance of an almost certain Mayo goal in the replay in Limerick.

Limerick, as heartstopping and exciting an hour and 3/4 I have ever enjoyed. A performance for the ages that will become historic both for its location and for the statement made by Kerry that famous afternoon.

A debate in the pub over xMas had a begrudger enquiring sarcastically of a Kerryman as to how many All Ireland's Kerry had. The reply, "between yourselves and ourselves we have 37".
Now what do you think of that Joe Brolly?

Two more...
Star's block on Robbie Hennelly's free saved the season (again). Forward had got a flick and I reckon it would have gone over. Star needed to be the height he is and to time the jump spot on.
Killian's burst for a free in the second half of the final broke what had been a lengthy stalemate and gave us momentum again.

I watched both Mayo games over the Christmas. Although some individuals clearly stood out, what struck me was how both days, they were real team performances. Everyone who got a run contributed in some way and there was no such thing as giving up or giving in.
Some website had the top 5 points of 2014 going on there before Christmas.I can't understand why more of the points from the Semi-final replay didn't make it. Some of Mayo and Kerry scores that evening were really from the top drawer.
