Congratulations to Joan Kiely Henchy on being elected Secretary of the New York GAA for 2015. She is the most dedicated GAA person to NY and is a member of the Kerry Football Club. Many years of success ahead for you! She puts more time and work into the GAA than most people.
Thanks again Joan!

The New York GAA Team played Boston to a 1-9 draw in an exciting, tough challenge game the day the 2013-2014 all stars game which followed. The all-star game was a non-event, with nothing at stake, and these games will not draw supporters unless they have something to play for. Two county teams, even division III and IV winners of the national league would be much more attractive. The New York team would need games like they had against Boston in the lead up to the 2015 Championship. Kerry players on the New York team were Kieran O'Connor (Emmets), Mike Jim Fitzgerald (Lispole), and Gary O'Driscoll (Skellig Rangers), who were the better NY Players on the day. Kieran got a leg injury which was not as serious as first thought. In charge of the team were Nial Moran and Ian Galvin (Waterville). A great day out by everybody, with old friends meeting, sharing a pint, and discussing the 2014 Championship, which most people did not expect Kerry to win.
LONG LIVE THE GAA!!!!!
P.S.
I'm off to Florida for the winter, and looking forward to a repeat in 2015 and once again will see all the Kerry games.
