I have not seen the list of players taking part but somebody told me today that David Moran is involved. With his injuries history surely this cannot be true. Wouldn't it be nauseating, at a time when Tommy Walsh is coming home, if David sustained a serious injury out there or a recurrence of an old one. Are there any other Kerry players involved in this circus? I also heard today that Colm O'Neill sustained some injury training for this jungle game. The International rules squad such as it was trained at my club 2 weekends in September, obviously no Kerry lads were involved at that stage but I was told by one of the mentors that David had committed to it. After the year he had with Kerry I hope he can remain injury free.

I also heard today that Colm O'Neill sustained some injury training for this jungle game. O'Neill will be out for about 2 months I heard. I cant help but wonder if Moran being involved is related to the fact that the Aussies didnt sign him as when he was on trial there. I did hear that most of the squad will be made up of the lads from last year's squad as a reward for them doing well and winning so fingers crossed there is unlikely to be too many more Kerry lads involved.

Someone needs to talk to David, to all the players, it is too risky.

Well the good news is that it's only Moran who's involved.
Fingers crossed he's stays injury free.
Does seem to be a fairly silly risk for a lad with Moran's injury record to be taking to be playing this makey-up game, but players are free to do as they please.

Tadhg Kennelly pointed during a scuffle in Croker that the Aussie possibles were more likely to inflict injury than the probables and that it is the latter that are selected for this home game maybe the risk is lessened. Still it is a different code and David is the last man who should risk himself. Maybe I'm being greedy but we don't want to lose him again and you'd have to feel for him, moreover given that he proved he is top class, even if it took him two cruciates and how many years? IS he a sucker for punishment or what? Tommy is not playing?
